I live in Europe and I have american version of 3ds. I like to buy the U.S. versions of games, because waiting for european release takes a lot of time. I wouldn't able to sleep, if I knew that people already play HM and I can't. Usually I buy the games in VideoGamesPlus, Play-Asia or Amazon. They ship their stuff to Europe.

Nope. I imported SI in Japanese when it came out, and while I had fun with it, I learned that it is worth the wait to really understand the game if you have limited knowledge of the Japanese language. Since I love the texts in HM, and storylines in general, it would be a waste imo. Plus I have so much to tide me over till this game even comes that I'm not dying for it to come out here in the States.

I don't know japanese AT ALL. I watch animes with subtitles (._. ). So basically, I'm gonna wait for it to come to America so I can enjoy the game's dialogue, since I heard it's REALLY good and saw some of Neil's naughty dialogue :wink: Plus, I don't have a 3DS yet either, so I'll have to wait till christmas for THAT. I NEED a 3DS because I NEED HM LoB and RF4.

I live in Canada, but if I lived in Europe (or any place that I would speak English, really) I would definitely import, because I could still understand the game. Importing the Japanese games are a little different, and since I wouldn't understand a lick of the dialogue I wouldn't bother. I'd rather just wait for the North American release. Although I hate the wait, I just try to forget about the game until it's released. :P

I want to import a Japanese 3ds and the game. I was hoping someone could direct me to a reliable site or store to do so.

I played the Japanese ver of Twin Towns and in all honestly had more fun playing it with no idea what they were saying. I had to take time to learn a little japanese and work out most of the quest items etc. When I finally got the english version it was boring to me! Too easy. : P
I should rather like to have the same experience with LoB and contribute to the translation of the game while the rest wait a year for the game to be translated.
(also I CAN'T WAITTTT)
I digress, if anyone can assist me with importing the system and game, (someone who recently has done so for example) I am extremely grateful! ^^

Wish I had the choice. I live in japan and am now stuck with a region locked 3ds despite coming from Australia. What a stupid move by nintendo. If this forum wasn't quite so innocent I could get a lot more creative with my adjectives. Still, work with what I've got and its an excuse to brush up on my Kanji. Afterall, most of this stuff is late primary school (elementary school) level anyway. I SHOULD be able to read it, well I can to some extent but its so much effort.

I had the same story. When I was playing the jp version of ToTT, I had a lot of fun. I was imagining what the characters were saying and also I was learning japanese. The engish version made me bored, so I sold it. However, this time I gave up with buying the jp LoB. I prefer to know what the characters have to say + I don't have jp 3DS.

I live in Japan so I didn't import. I would like to buy any English versions of games like these but I would need to pay import price for a US 3DS and game, when it comes available. I can buy them in Akihabara in Tokyo. The region lock is really annoying and I hope we can get an unlock 3DS card similar to the region unlock disc for the Wii.

If I was waiting for the European market I would be probably waiting years. :( So if I was back in the UK I would probably import if I had the money.

I just wish I had the kind of money to do so :c
/Keera doesn't have a job
/Keera is a poor college student

Also if I did, I would have no idea what I was doing because I can't read Japanese ^^;
BUT
Maybe once I graduate and can read Japanese and hopefully have more money, then I would consider to start importing stuff <3
