How do you get cooking recepies?

I only just got the hotel, resteraunt and cafe, and need to know how to get recipies!! :?:

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!! :?:

You give them some food like for example,an egg.Then you can get a recipe for something that uses an egg in it.

You give something to the owners of the cafe or diner that they can cook with. (This means dont just give them rocks) and they will cook a dish. You cant keep the dish they make, but they do give you the recipe. Unfortunately, you have to get Gannon to build you a kitchen before you can actually make the recipe.

Plus, I tryed to give both of them an egg, and all it said was something like: I'm sorry but i cant cook anything with that ingrediant just yet.

Okay here is what you do step by step:
1. Higher Gannon to upgrade your house to a bigger size
2. Once that is done buy a Refrigerator from Chen
3. Buy the Kitchen from Chen when t gets unlocked after you bought the fridge

During that time unlock sub-villagers so that the cafe and diner will upgrade. You need 20 for the cafe and 25 for the diner. Once that and the other three steps are done move on to the final step.

4. Give them an item so they can give you a recipe. Save before you do it because sometimes they make mistakes.

They cannot give you recipes until they've upgraded their store and you have a kitchen. That is why they said what they said.

Give the cafe/diner something like a egg, milk or something edible and they'll make something with it. When they're done, they'll give you the reciepe for it. Find all reciepes here: http://www.fogu.com/hm7/basics/cookingrecipes.php
