3DS colors

Two new colors have been announced for US release. The colors are purple and pink.
This could be old news.
I wanted to make a topic anywhat for those who didn't know and also to ask what color your 3DS is and if you don't have one, what color do you want?

I have a red one, I was waiting for a Zelda edition to come out for the 25th anniversary and when one didn't I bought the red one since it was a new color. Then for black friday the Zelda edition was announced. What a sad panda I was.
Oh well.

Technically the pink color is old news since initially the pink only came in a Nintendogs+ cats bundle starting in January(which I bought).Also the pink individual system started sales last month.But the purple is "relatively" new news-when the 3DS was originally revealed at E3 2 years ago they mentioned that in addition to the Blue and Black they would also eventually release red,green,and purple but didn't give a timeframe.

I haz a Aqua Blue D: If I ever come into any spare cash that I can freely spend with out any worries I am so getting a Red one and transferring everything over to it.

Anywhat, yeah I am really jealous of all you with the Zelda edition. If I would have just waited an extra month. Also would have rather have gotten the blue one but the temptation for the newest one was too strong~

i don't have one.

i wish that they would release that gorgeous orange one that they showed at E3 that one year. :< that one was amazing~ a lot of these products seem to skew towards cool colours, but i prefer warm colours, so i'm a bit out of luck there. the red one isn't so bad, though.

Well I want this one really badly:

The special Fire Emblem Awakening 3DS, only in Japan, though it might -might- come over to the NA too. If it doesn't I want to get the purple one!

:'( That sucks Ida. I was going to get the Red one but I ended up not getting a 3DS at all. I guess that turned out to be a good thing though, since all these flashy new ones are coming out.

But what happened to you is JUST like what happened to me when I got my DS Lite. I got a pink one and then a few months later they came out with that awesome icy blue one and I really wanted it, and then the lime green one that I really liked, and then they made the DSi and XL that I swear are just big money grabs that I'm never buying :roll:

I think my 3rd DS was the Zelda Edition DS lite. Then I lost it or it was stolen or something... shady. Anyway, then I got the DSiXL because I was all sure why not, [I am a sucker for new things]. Well I got the midnight blue and a few months later the red Mario or whatever edition came out and I loved it.
Oh well~~

i had the opposite problem with the DS lite, actually.

i really wanted the white one, but by the time i got around to getting one, they had stopped making the white one. so i went "oh well, i'll get that nice pretty pink one!" ...by which point they discontinued in favour of the metallic pink one, which i didn't like. i ended up with a black one, which is really nice and it suits me, but still, i wanted that white one!

i still have and use my black DS lite. it serves me well.

They did come out with a Pokemon White and Black DS bundle though~

I am glad I waited to get the 3DS though because the initial price of it was just way too high.

oh man, pokemon black and white came out so long after i got my DS lite!

i don't like pokemon, anyway, so i wouldn't want a DS with pokemon on it, but thanks anyway. :D

i knew someone whose DS broke a few months before pokemon B&W came out, and he was obsessed with the pokemon black DS lite, so he waited to get it...and complained the entire time about his lack of a DS, but then he showed up one day with a sexy new pokemon DS and we were all so proud, haha~
