Okay, so I very recently learned about freezing inventories. It happened after I reset my game about 7 times, ahaha. Anyway, I've stopped doing that, but I'm now worried about having inventories frozen, regardless, because I turn the 3DS off after every game day and then play again after some time has passed. I do this because if I try to play two games days then my game is much more likely to freeze. That, and it's easier on the eyes.

Anyway, does anyone else do this? Reset after every game day? And, if so, has it caused your inventories to freeze? I'd really like for that NOT to happen, haha. I don't want to have to choose between frozen inventories or a frozen game...

Thanks!

It's okay to do what you do.

You can always fix the shop inventories by buying something and shipping it.

If you turn your game off when it's in that screen where it says "Game saved. You're now on Spring 17 of Year 2" or whatever it says after it's saved, it's okay. It doesn't count as you restarting the day since you haven't actually started your day. Once you leave that screen though, your day has started and turning it off before saving and going to bed again will count as a reset.

Otherwise it'd be pretty much impossible to not reset the day. :/ They can't expect everyone to leave their games on 24/7.

This is my concern! If I sell something, it should reset the stock... but then if I turn the game off after the game day, might it not then refreeze the inventory before the reset stock could take place? :'(

And about turning the game off when it says "game saved" but before actually starting the day, I really hope that's true! That would help solve a lot!

That's where you're Supposed to turn off the game. But you're already saved, you can only start the new day when you turn on your game.

Restarts means to power off or reboot your game in the middle of gameplay.

To fix store inventory, you have to buy/ship something then play through the game and sleep-save. Check the next time the store is open.
