The latest game I have so far is Tale of Two Towns and I know that Grand Bazaar is older. But I was wondering if this game is worth getting? Pros and cons?

I think the game is worth getting. It is kinda "small" but you can probably find it for 20 bucks and that's not so bad.

Here are some pros and cons for me. You might not agree with all of them. It's just my personal opinion.

Pros:
-Double jumping
-Bug Catching
-You can go out in storms
-You can make items in Windmills
-You get to run your own stand at a Bazaar (super fun in my opinion)
-Snowboarding and Skateboarding
-Neat little cameos of Island of Happiness/Sunshine Island characters

Cons:
-Bags of seeds only plant one crop
-You can only see a character's new dialog if you talk to them in a certain place. If not they say the same thing no matter how much they like you
-The town is Very small. There are not many places to go
-If you need to sell something before the Bazaar you have to sell it at cheaper price
-You can not sell your animals
-There is no consequence for staying up late (although some people might think of that as a pro)
-The freshness meter
-There is not enough storage
-The characters are flat (in my opinion)
-The plot is simple all you have to do to complete it is earn money

Anyways it is a simple game good for people who don't want to worry about a lot of things. Sure there are times when you pretty much have nothing to do but it is cute and fun. I am glad I got it.

Since you can get it at a lower price, sure. I had fun with mine for forever. All of the things above are totally true, and starting off can be a bit boring in it. But once you have enough money to get plenty of crops things take off a bit.

It is a really small world and is definitely focused on a younger audience. But I find myself playing it when I don't feel like taking on all there is to do on ToTT.

All in all, get it, try it out, and if you don't like it, try exchanging it for something else!

Seeing as you have Tale of Two Towns, I'd say no. But it's your choice. :3
I got Grand Bazaar before I got ToTT and I was hooked... at first.

Pros:
-The bazaar is thoroughly entertaining and there are some great items.
-You don't have to buy makers as the windmills are free and very useful.
-The festivals in this game clearly influenced the festivals in ToTT. I enjoy the festivals immensely.
-Double jumping is fun! Haha.
-I agree with some of the pros in the second post.

Cons:
-The characters have rather weak personalities. Or some of them, anyway.
-You can only purchase animals at the bazaar so you have to wait an entire week...
-The island really is small. I know people have said this but it's so limited and there is absolutely no entertainment as I end up saving my game at like 11am because there is nothing to do. On ToTT I can keep playing until it's late at night...
-This is because I'm picky but the design for the female protagonist is awful. Her outfit makes me cringe.

The game is rather fun but it gets boring quickly.

ToTT is essentially a better version of Grand Bazaar... just without the Bazaar and characters. (Excluding Dirk.)

The characters don't say the same things over and over anymore then most HM characters. They have the same line until you befriend them, then they get a new piece of dialog. That is how it is in most HM games. You just have to talk to them in the right places to see the different dialog.

Also there is a proper plot and it is similar to many classic Harvest Moon plots just with a twist. You have to improve you farm and bring life back to the Bazaar. Sure it may be simple and that isn't as exciting as a bigger plot but there are plenty of HM games where the only plot is to improve your farm. So saying it is not a proper plot is unfair.

Ah yeah, you have a point. I just felt like the characters in other games said a few different things even before befriending. xD

True. Sorry.

the irritating thing is the villager always say a same dialogue in the Festival
"What you won congrats"
"Ahh you lose maybe next year you can win"

That's make me crazy

No need to apologize. I thought characters didn't change their dialog at all when I first got the game. Way later I found out you have to talk to them in a certain spot. Because of that I missed basically all of Angelo's dialog DX. I didn't want someone else to get the same idea I had and miss out on what characters said. So I wanted to point out that they do have different lines. It's just harder to see the new dialog.

It is true that they have less dialog than other HM games though.

Yeah that is pretty lame XD.

Ah, I see! Haha, that's fair enough. Actually I think I was thinking the same thing when talking to Ivan... seeing as he always talked about the children he tutors in the city. xD

Haha yeah. I suppose you aren't missing out on much if you don't see some of the new dialog since they talk about the same things so much.

Just bought a recycled one today and about to start playing to pass time while I wait for ToTT to be released in the UK. I hope it will be worth it.

I found it fun on the first playthrough, but on the second one, it seems slow. But it's one of my favorites, so I'd recommend it. It's great if you want to relax~

I really liked this game and is one of the few HMs that I enjoyed more after I was married and had the main goal completed. :'D I simply loved collecting a ton of crops and dairy products, cooking and making them into something else, selling them at the bazaar, and trying to see if I beat my high score in money making. It's slow at first, but for me, it really picked up once I got a good money flow going. :D
I think it's worth getting, but it's up to you~

I personally think ToTT is better.
Pros:
Double Jumping
More Chararcters to marry
The Bazaar is a good new feature
No makers! The windmills are free!
Better festivals.

Cons:
No shipping bin and the Bazaar gets annoying.
You can upgrade your bag.
You cant sell animals, you just have to leave them to die.(reduces fp rapidly)
Island is very small.
Bazaar is very small.
Every character has the same personality
No entertainment
You cant change your clothes, unlike AP
