That is interesting. I figured it would just be between marriage candidates. It would be neat to include the villagers though . It's nice to see people care about the villagers too X3. However Jace is still a kid and Riley is one of the most mature marriage candidate so I don't know what they'd have in common on a friendship level. It's a great idea for events so Riley should have a set of random events where they got closer. But I don't think it would work as his best friend pairing.
Besides your idea seems like it'd be cuter as an older brother/younger brother type of relationship rather than a normal friendship. I bet Riley would be a nice big brother figure.
I just realized there is an uneven amount of bachelors. Should we add more? It might be nice if there was an even amount. Especially if we start making best friend pairings. If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them .

Kole: Green Heart Event: Walk into the pond area after you've seen his the event before this one and Kole has a Green Heart or higher. You will see Kole fishing. Kimber walks over to see what he's doing. Kole: Hey sugar this is a change, normally I'm the one who goes outta my way to speak with you. Now here you are being the one to approach me. How sweet. Do you have something you wanna ask me?
"Not really" (-2,000LP): Kole: Oh okay. I'll see you later then.
Kimber leaves and the event ends.
"Why are you calling me "sugar"?" Kole: Oooh I knew you'd ask about that eventually. Do I really have to tell you? Kimber: ? bubble Kole: It's kind of silly you know. So I'd rather not talk about it. Kimber: ... bubble Kole: Fine but I'll only tell you. I guess it's cause I call every girl "honey" it doesn't seem very fair to lump you with strangers and the like. But it is me after all, I can't start calling you simply by your name. So I had to come up with something else. Sugar is sweeter than honey so I figured you'd appreciate the upgrade. What do you think, pretty nice huh? *music note bubble*
"I'm not really sure about that...." (-3,000) Kole: Don't worry about it. I've already gotten used to it. I'm sure you will too. Well I've gotta be going now.
Kole walks off and the event ends.
"So you like me more than other girls?" (+3,000) Kole: Come on this exactly why I didn't want tell you. Now you're making me blush. Kimber: Music note bubble Kole: Alright, alright now that you know just don't laugh at me when I call you it okay? Kimber: *nods head yes* Kole: This is our little secret. Don't tell the other girls. I don't wanna to have give special nicknames to everyone. See you later... Sugar.
The scene ends and you are standing with Kole at the pond. If you talk to him he says "I guess letting you know wasn't so bad. I was actually really worrying about having this conversation with you." until you leave the area. As long as you keep Kole at a Green Heart or higher he will call you "sugar". If you get back down to a lower color or are currently married to someone else he will call you "honey" again.
(You know if there was a male MC I already know what Kole would do. He'd call him "buddy" until you got a certain amount of FP and then he's start calling you by your actual name.)

A new one... Well... If you must, how about Kiku? He could be a cute Japanese guy who just barely understands English... that's kinda like Shea, isn't it? But... he could be an immigrant!!!
Kiku- Kiku tries to be polite and romantic, but whenever he talks everybody laughs. When he says "You are very beautiful" it comes out "You al velly butiful". After Kimber obtains 27% of the island, he moves into your toolshed. When you find him, you take pity and let him work on your farm.
He lives in your tool shed XD? Is that permanent for the entire game or does he move somewhere else once you give him a job?
Maybe instead of working on your farm Kimber could get him a job somewhere else. Since people might be annoyed if you had someone living on your farm who was working for you but didn't actually help you with your chores. Or maybe his job could be helping with the items you put in shipping bin.

It's all good Julius. I like your ideas so far. He just needs a few more details decided on. By the way do you mind if I call you Julie instead of Julius?
There are lots of places for you to choose from where he could live. There two inns so he could move into one of those, or Kimber could gain control of a certain piece of land and he could have his own house, or he could move in with one of the characters who already live here.

I would suggest having him move into a certain plot of land and having his own house since that is what most people do when they move to the island.
But I don't know the background, circumstances, or wants of your character. So if you think he'd do better living in an inn or something like that then that's fine with me.
