I want to remodel my house in Bluebell but I only have 50,000G which is way less then the 1 million and something I need! I've heard of the rice trick but Raul barely sells rice. Please help!

Fishing with the master rod definitely gets me tons of money like 18000 a day. Just go fishing and usually anything "large" will sell for like 500g.

forage from EVERYWHERE, and hand fish all day with bug collecting on the side. then sell everything you got. some items are worth more than youd think

I have been foraging ALOT but I never stop and hand fish or catch bugs, I don't know why! I should probably start!

Plant many crops. Many many crops - look up the maps of both farms and look for all the hoe-able spots. Fish lots, pick up every freakin thing on the ground and ship everything.

Gold will come in Huge heaps once you get the seed maker and 5-star crops. Try to stay and expand Konohana until you get the watermill/rice paddy - which comes with the seed and flour maker. Then do Bluebell for yarn maker, etc. Seed maker is top priority!

ps. Alpacas come later and they're only profitable once you level them up to 5-products per shear. Slow regrowth. But I think I'm gonna get rid of most of my cows/sheep and just get alpacas next year.

i had the same problem. it actually took me two years in the game to remodel my house. took fooooooreverrrrrr.

anyways, owning a lot of jersey cows, suffolk sheep(can't remember that name, i think that's what they're called), and alpacas can bring in a lot of money. even if the star rank is pretty low, you can still get a lot more money than you would from the regular products. i also forged EVERYDAY. and i mean every day, every spot, everywhere. also, collecting every bug and fish i saw.

another thing, you should check the request boards in bluebell and konohana. sometimes, you'll get more money from requests than shipping products. for example, i remember that Ayame put up a request for 5 weeds. Usually, if shipping 5 weeds would get your 5G (1G from each). But by giving them to Ayame, i got a jam which gave me around 150G when i shipped it, and 262G for just doing the request. so i made a lot more money! look out for requests like those!

Thanks you all have been so helpful I made 40,000G in one day from alpaca and sheep and stuff! The flowers I grew on every area possible also helped a bunch!

I use this method as well. As I love wasting money on crops that I end up letting rot later on, I ended up making a little list of helpful fishing tips. So... enjoy said tips!

1. Fogu specifically says that rod fishing has nothing to do with the time of day. However, I've noticed that expensive fish do happen to be more common at from 11 PM on, even though they can be obtained at any time.
2. One must be very careful where you are fishing sometimes. In spring, avoid using your normal fishing rod in Kono Mid W during sunny weather, as you will repeatedly catch the Dragon Carp, which will efficiently waste your time. The same goes for not using your normal rod in Kono High after midnight in fall, for you will catch many Giant Salamanders, and Blue High or Kono Mid S in Summer when it rains (excluding typhoons,) for you will catch multiple Giant Catfish.
3. Be extremely thoughtful about time in winter. Once you have caught all three other "King Fish," you won't get through a single fishing in Blue High and Kono High without catching at least 2 Giant Hutchens, which gets VERY annoying, especially since large trouts are very abundant in those two fishing areas.
4. Think about what season you are in when you fish. There is usually one fishing spot that is amazing and one that is useless in each season.
5. Always fish during storms, and fish in as many spots as you can, no matter whether you'll get a King Fish or not. The fish in typhoons especially are really expensive compared to the regular fish.

If you don't feel like fishing, selling food gotten as request rewards, catching bugs, selling your repetitive cooking festival diamonds, finishing requests... it's really up to you how you make money. I prefer this "epic fishing," but everyone has their preferances.

Try fertilizing flowers, especially roses. Look here http://www.fogu.com/hm10/index.php# (crops and animals menu) and see which stuff is most profitable in each season; I can usually get my flowers up to at least 1 star, which is quite a nice profit. 1 star sunflowers in the summer earned me over 200,000. And fishing with the master rod, especially during typhoons, you get some profitable fish during typhoons And increasing animal productivity levels can be useful, especially if they've previously won festivals and produce gold milk/eggs and great wool on occasion, as you'll get more of those, and therefore more money.
