Lost Valley Release Date | Posted at 10:56 AM 11 October 2014The other day, Natsume confirmed that the official North American release date for Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley will be Tuesday, November 4th. You can pre-order the game at the company's online store if you're in the continental US (sorry Canada), or from your local Gamestop retail store. The European release date is still set for sometime in 2015, but the specifics aren't available quite yet. The special limited-edition of the game will come with a large plushie rabbit while the pre-order from Gamestop (or from the Natsume store) will be a smaller plushie puppy.
The game will sell for $29.99 (plus tax if required), and the larger bunny bonus version will be $39.99 from the Natsume store. How exciting!
As for Story of Seasons, XSeed has confirmed that the post-release Novice mode will be included in the English version of the game. It will be the cuter-named Seedling Mode, and you can choose between Seedling and normal mode when you begin a new game. The game has two save files, so you could have one on normal difficulty and another on easier mode. Note that Seedling/Novice mode doesn't affect everything in the game. It affects shop sell prices, stamina reduction, and fewer requirements to unlock the last two Trade Depot vendors.
XSeed has also started publishing updates on their Bokumono localization on their Tumblr account.
