Harvest Moon: Lil' Farmers

game logo

Console: iOS and Android
Release Date: May 25, 2017 (globally, except in Japan)

Harvest Moon: Lil' Farmers is a mobile game for iPhones, iPads, Amazon Kindle devices, and Android handheld devices. The game was developed for young children audiences who have shorter attention spans. The game does not have any readable text (other than the game's logo on the title screen), as its intended audience might not know how to read yet. All actions are icon based, which you drag to the location you want the icon's ability to activate.

The game doesn't have a story, marriage, festivals, and whatnot that typically exist in a full Harvest Moon style game. Instead, this small game is a "My First Harvest Moon" style game for preschoolers, where kids will grow crops, harvest products from animals, and then give those items away to the friends visiting their farm store.

This game was developed by Rising Star Games and Daredevil Development, a video game developer that creates character-licensed mobile apps such as Bob the Builder and Paddington Bear. The game retails for $3.99 (or similar, depending on local currency) and does not require a persistant internet connection to play, contains no advertisements, and does not have micro-transactions. The game also does not have a save state or anyway to track progress, as closing the app will reset the game back to the start.
