Allen

This red-headed man with the high self-esteem is here to make you loooook gooooooood! Allen runs the hair salon and will change the style and color of your hair for a small fee. He knows he is good at what he does and has just a small ego. It may just be hair, but Allen takes his job very seriously and can be aggressive about fixing a bad style.

He and Rod have been friends since they were young. They both left the town to move onto different things, but you can entice them to return by developing the town's popularity and completing Dunhill's master plans.

To bring Allen back to town, construct the Salon by buying the blueprint at Rebecca's shop for 2400 G once you begin Dunhill's Town Renovation Plan #2. The Salon requires 25 Material Stone, 50 Small Lumber, and 5 Iron.

At the restaurant, Allen tells you the food is his treat and insists that you eat.

Well, you're the one who followed him to the restaurant. If you didn't want to come, why didn't you say so! If you can't clearly communicate with someone then you don't have a right to complain. You've really "killed" Allen's mood, and he tells you if you don't want to be here, then get going so he can return to enjoying his tea time.

Option 2: Thank you so much

Having a girl pay for food is against his personal beliefs. The two of you enjoy your meal together. Afterward, Allen is glad that you had a good time and hopes to invite you out again some other time.

Allen invites you to go out walking with him. As you hang out in the River area, he tells you that he has been busy thinking of new hair styles. If you ask him in a cute way, maybe he'll tell you why he became a stylist.

Option 1: I'm too embarrassed to do that!

You decline his offer. Allen is a bit bothered since you were the one who wanted to know more about him, and asks why you're running a farm. You explain the story about your parents and the love for their land. Allen can tell that you like your parents. You ask if he could tell you why he became a stylist, but "B-A-D luck, honey bun"; you should of asked as cutely as you could when you had the chance. You told him about yourself of your own free will, yet you can't expect the same give-and-take from him. Allen heads back to work.

You ask in your cutest way possible and convince him to tell all. Allen explains that his mom and sister had long hair but didn't know how to style it. Allen would help them and eventually the other women in the neighborhood would ask him to style their hair too. Eventually he became so popular that he opened his own salon.

A stylist can completely change a person's outward impression. He's thrilled to have such a great profession. Allen is glad that you enjoyed some of his history and hopes to talk to you again soon.

It feels good because he has magic fingers, or perhaps it is because you have feelings for him. Either way, Allen likes it when his cute girlfriend tells him such things.

Yes; your hair is so bad that he's at a loss for words! How can the girlfriend of a stylus be such a failure? Allen says he's going to give your hair a special treatment, and tells you to look after your hair from now on.

Are you fascinated by how cool he is while he works? Honestly though, Allen says that he is quiet because he is is a little nervous, but maybe nervous isn't the right word. He just really likes touching your hair.

Allen is apologizing to Charles for a mistake he's made when you walk in. Charles explained that he came in for a moustache trim and received less change back after he paid for it. Turns out that Allen had just given the wrong amount of change back to Charles. Allen apologizes again, but Charles tells him not to worry about it.

After Charles leaves, Allen is still upset that he gave Charles the wrong amount of change. He doesn't think he has the time for you at the moment and asks that you leave.

Option 1: Leave

You leave Allen, as he continues to be disappointed in himself.

Option 2: Stay

You insist on staying even though he insists that you leave! He doesn't want anyone around him.

  You're only saying that because you're hungry. But, since you mentioned it, Allen would like his favorite, Genovese Pasta. He doesn't want to go out and asks that you use the kitchen to make it for him! You cook the meal and give it to Allen, who sheepishly eats it. You do get a "thanks" out of him.
  
  After cleaning up, Allen decides to walk you home because it's so late at night. He even apologizes for his behavior.
