If you've ever looked at your "Other" page in your Sales Summary ( ), you'd see scores you've obtained from the Harvest Sprite and Dog Frisbee mini games. You can also see the deepest floor in the mine that you've been able to reach, the most money you've made in a day, and (sadly) the longest life span of each type of animal you've owned. The listings in the Other page won't appear until you've actually initiated the type of listing, so you won't see the one about the mine's floors until you go into the mine and start digging around. Even if you think you've done everything available, there's one more listing that you might not be aware of.

When you're digging around your farm there's a chance you could find something in the dirt. You could find little bags of money or even an animal called a Mole. The moles won't harm your crops and they'll disappear back under the ground after a few moments. Since the little rodents are harmless you could just leave them be, or you could whack them on the head!

Smashing little rodents on the noggin was even a mini-game in Harvest Moon 2 GBC, but in FoMT you don't get to play the same way. When you dig up a Mole in your field you have to quickly switch to your Hammer tool and smash it on the head. The best way of doing this is to have the Hoe as your active tool and your Hammer set to be in slot 1 of your Rucksack. When you press Left Shoulder + B, you'll switch to your Hammer just in time to bop the mole on the head. If you try to manually switch tools by going into your Rucksack (A + B) then the mole will get away.

Each time you whack one of the moles, a tally appears in the Other screen of your Sales Summary.
