This event will occur every year but it's not marked on the seasonal calendar by your bed. On the 5th of Fall, go to the Inn after 10:00 am and Ann will nervously welcome you. She says they'll be closing at 5:00 pm that day. She starts talking about today and her mom, but then quickly says her dad decided to take the day off.
Walk up to the summit of Mother's Hill to trigger the event. Doug is up top watching the clouds go by. He says that today is the anniversary day of Ann's mother's death. This is the only day of the year that he takes time for himself. It's a day he likes spend thinking about things. Doug will stay up on the summit until 5:00 pm. You won't be able to enter the Inn until the next day.
