Re: Anyone miss how the story progressed in older HM/SOS gam
This is actually something I have to applaud Harvest Moon: One World on. OW has a story mode that feels natural, you can progress at your own pace, has some challenge to it, and is interesting because you learn about each town and its people in the process. Coming off of OW straight into PoOT, it w...

Lol, yeah would have been better to make it a bit more noticeable! xDRonin19 wrote:I noticed the roads, but not the town hall, benches, or lamposts.

Re: Anyone miss how the story progressed in older HM/SOS gam
I think what would be better would be how Animal Parade handled it; I finished Animal Parade and Pioneers of Olive Town in Summer Year 1. The difference is Animal Parade unlocks stuff when you progress in the story versus Pioneers of Olive Town unlocks nothing other than making the town look pretti...

Marriage Glitch
Came across this glitch when getting married. I chose the black suit/tuxedo, and on my wedding day my character was wearing the wedding dress. I tried reloading from the quick save, as well as from my manual save, even tried passing out at 2:00AM with no difference in outcome, lol! Sad I don't get t...

Re: Anyone miss how the story progressed in older HM/SOS gam
Personally, I prefer this story arc. We progress on our own time no matter how long it takes. Everything is available at our own pace instead of being locked away or needing to wait 3 years when we've proven ourselves already in the first year. I feel you, I do like this story progression, but with...

Anyone miss how the story progressed in older HM/SOS games?
I have been really enjoying this game since it released, and honestly in my opinion think it's one of the better games in the series to release since before A New Beginning came out. Really glad to see the return to the more traditional way of farming, instead of the the super watered down way it ha...

Re: 1.0.4 patch is live!
The update to makers is a great idea, and really should have been in the game day one. How they currently are hasn't really hampered my enjoyment of the game much, but having less of the makers on my farm would be a welcomed update personally speaking, lol. As with load times, they haven't really be...

Re: What is your farm like?
I'm in Spring year 2, and finally getting around to setting up my farm areas, and making them look nice. Farm 1: Tons of Storage boxes, and a bunch of random makers... it's a bit of a hot mess, house upgraded to small house. Farm 2: Big coop (with 2 mayonnaise makers), big barn, small barn (with thr...

[SPOILER?] Bottom of First Mine
So just finished hitting the bottom of the first mine(The one between the first and second town]. It's only 10 levels, but is there anything down here, other than the couple of Harvest Sprites that give you some seeds? Kind of looks like there should be with the little pedestals, and the slab of roc...

Re: Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town announced!
I really love how this game looks, and the idea behind the story sounds super interesting! I love the customization it has for your farm, similar to Stardew Valley! Only thing I see that looks somewhat like the new Natsume Harvest Moon games is when you collect resources like wood/ore, the 2D sprite...

Duuuuude, I am so stoked about this, Pokemon Yellow was my first Pokemon game, and I love that it is being 'remade' for the Switch.
Love the look of this game, and I'm super pumped for a main line iteration coming out in 2019!~

Re: How did you discover Harvest Moon?
Originally I found Legend of the River King for the Gameboy, I am a huge fan of fishing, and saw that this was a fishing game, and I loved it so much, and was also my first RPG as well. About a year later I saw Harvest Moon 3 GBC: Boy meets Girl at a Walmart and noticed it had the same Natsume Logo ...

Hmmmm, I will definitely have to give it a look, thank you so much for the heads up!Ehppy wrote:If you're not aware, they did somewhat recently release Digimon World: Next Order, which plays a lot more like the first digimon world on ps1. I definitely recommend looking into it!

Re: Favorite House
Hmmmm... that's a tough questions, but I would have to go with the Harvest Moon 64 house. I have always loved the design of that house for some reason, and liked the changes that happened when you upgraded it and added stuff like the kitchen and bathroom. Plus I loved the little Katori Buta that you...
