On a related note, I noticed the requirements for the light green event doesn't mention a "You are not dating/married to anybody" note. Can you actually trigger it while dating somebody? I'm assuming not, but the guide doesn't strictly rule it out (unless I missed something).

That honestly sounds like something Wayne should be saying if you're engaged to somebody else, to be perfectly honest. Very weird. If it's a bug I hope it'll clear itself up on its own after a while for you. Edit: Aw, apparently this forum doesn't allow users to delete their posts. The second line m...

Can you brush or talk to her? I haven't bred any livestock, but lack of brushing is usually the cause for high stress meters. If you can brush her just hold down the button until it stops you automatically. If you can't then I'm not sure what's up. The barn is clean, right? You could also try the Co...

I always make sure to see all of the non-dating event dialogue before committing to anybody in these sorts of games just so I have the best idea of who'll be the best fit for that character. so rather than suggest anybody specific I'll simply second the comment above - pursue all those relationships...

This was a point of frustration for me back when I first got a "finding" pet instead of just using the herding ones like in my first file. It seemed to work a bit better provided that I simply stood around near it for a little bit starting from 17:00, waiting for it to get an exclamation p...

The original SoS eventually started crashing on me at a frequency that made it unpleasant to play (I think in Year 3, still before I had the final two vendors unlocked since I played a bit casually). Not everybody runs into this issue, but it was enough of a thing for me that I just can't in good fa...

I think it's worthwhile - it adds quite a few scenes and I think new daily dialogue to all of the normal candidates. It's a nice enhancement to the game. :)

Gotta admit - if something like that happened to me I'd be a little spooked. I wonder what happened?

I agree completely with Kikki regarding endearments - it's just impossible to make it perfect, so it'd bug me way too much to use 'honey' or 'dear' in these games, even putting aside the issue of your spouse never saying your name again. I usually like to pick names that shorten easily into nickname...

I think if you've taken a bath recently the message won't crop up, but yeah - it doesn't actually mean much of anything. Just poking you to use a less-than-useful feature. :P

According to this topic your birth might be delayed by some number of days for whatever reason. That probably isn't typical, though, and you should expect it 45 days after the event. :)

It should be born approximately 45 days after you have the event.
