I've got the safari unlocked, but I still do dive some (albeit not as much as before, but that's mainly because I don't have as much time). I haven't double checked this, but there are some things that you can't get from mining. I've never gotten Peridot or Topaz from the mining spot in the safari, ...

I just picked up the game again yesterday and had to kind of relearn how to do things and find my routine again. After several hours of playing, I think I've got it re-established (I'm nearing Summer Year 2): -Check my sewing shed and move my moneymaking flax through the different stations. Visit ot...

Once you get the sewing studio, you can turn that flax into linen thread by using the spinning wheel. With the dyeing pot, you can turn the linen thread into golden linen thread. There's another station (cloth maker?) that you can then turn that golden linen thread into golden linen cloth. As for ho...

One thing that comes to mind is both a pro and a con: the RNG. On one hand, I like that there's a bit of randomness when it comes to deciding who wins a festival. It's not very fair that you should be guaranteed a win every time if you have x qualities. There should still be a little bit of randomne...

I'm kind of a mix of both sides. I definitely don't like throwing much away, so I always keep a game's box and manual either on my bookshelf or in a drawer. Disc games I keep in a drawer below the system, simply because they're good and sturdy cases to keep them protected. Cartridges , however, I ke...

Sanjay all the way for me! He was the one I was dating and intending to marry before I distracted myself with a different game. He's so kind and caring~

i chose original on my first file because i was naive and hadn't looked on fogu yet. I was like "psh, I don't need no stinkin beginner « Cow Poopoo » i've been playing these games for YEARS" i was so wrong but by the time i found out it was too late, so I chose seedling mode for...

Once you have flax, go into your sewing studio and use the wheel to turn it into linen thread. With your linen thread, take it to the dye pot and turn that into golden linen thread. Once that's done, turn that into golden linen cloth. Then sell that and make oodles of money!

@Shan
If you're low on money, do you know of the flax trick? If you've got the sewing shed and flax, you can make tons of gold with that :D

I do think that it's almost unnecessary, unless you have to desperately sell items on a day that a vendor isn't there. But by the time you unlock it, you should have a vendor in town on almost every day.. and even then at that point, you should be pretty good with managing money and not be put in t...

I'm happy you like it, Seresuto! That said, there's a small bug in the Gardening Tour tab. You can only get 100G for the 10 point themes and a max of 200 for the 50/100 point themes. The way you calculate them, the value isn't capped, so the final result may come out higher than expected. Oh gosh, t...

Haven't updated this thread since the nice suggestion of conditionally formatted gathering groups. And I would like to say that it has been added! Thank you so much kidhedera for the idea ^_^

Thank you! I'm glad you're finding it useful! :D But omg, thank you for that suggestion. I hadn't even thought about that! I've been trying to figure out how to get conditional formatting to work in that way, and I believe I've got it. I'll play around with it tonight and see if I can get it working...

I guess it depends on what aspects of the game you like? I personally prefer ANB over ToTT, but I know a lot of people don't care too much for ANB. It is similar to SoS because of crafting with blueprints and collecting recipes and such, which I love. As for DS vs. 3DS issue... a couple things come...
