Questions and Rant about the EU version

First things first: the EU version is RUBBISH. I live in the UK and therefore get deprived of most things Americans get.

Our version doesn't have some glitches such as the milker glitch and I think is also doesn't have the horse milking glitch either which is really frustrating.

We also don't have any gambling in the casino.

So onto the questions:

Does the wild dog come in the EU version? I have never seen it before and I am questioning it's existence.

Is there a list of differences between the EU version and the Japanese and American version? If so, can someone link it, I'd love to read it.

Is there anything I can do on my EU game that Americans can't?

I swing by here often so even if this post looks old please reply! I really want to know.

As far as I know, the wild dogs are in the EU version. It might be nice for a compiled list of what is/is not in the EU version.

For the JP/EN versions, the main difference is the omitted 100-year storyline. In the JP version the residents of the valley are the descendants of those in AWL, set 100 years after the original Gamecube game. That was dropped in the EN version because it just didn't make sense to have the same characters from AWL with different names.

OMG EVERYTHING MAKES SO MUCH SENSE

I don't know why I didn't piece the two games together before. I've never actually played AWL but have always loved harvest moon and been interested in playing it so I know about it. So this Mark that is buried is my father, Takakura's friend in AWL which is why Takakura is on my farm and it is the same forget me not Valley. So how does this story line also tie in my FOMT?

Yes, if you happen to have a EU copy of FoMT and a DS that has the slot to play GBA games, putting the GBA game while you play the DS game will unlock special characters from Mineral Town. They'll appear weekly and live at the inn with Ruby and Rock.

Since the game took place 100 years after AWL, in theory your DS character is a different guy than the original AWL farmer. The gravestone is meant for that farmer as your farmer is a different character 100 years later.
