So Rune Factory 5 Might Be In Development

According to a new thread on the Rune Factory sub Reddit, someone asked an Xseed employee at E3 if the game was being worked on, and they said yes, but refused to answer anymore questions. The maker of the thread provided some pictures to prove that they were there, so lets see what happens.

Hate to be a downer, but that Reddit thread isn't selling me. It really doesn't seem to me like something you'd just casually reveal at a convention. There are pictures that prove they were at E3, yes, but beyond that it seems no more reliable than a "my dad works at Nintendo" esque leak.

I'm staying skeptical. Better to keep expectations low and assume it's not real so it'll be even more exciting if it is real (or on the contrary, if it's not real but RF5 is being worked on anyway).

Then maybe all the rest of can get the RF, HM, SoS, FL, TL, EverOasis, AC Miitopia, game(s). And the price(s) will drop so the rest of us can get the rest, for those that did not get them. Quite frankly, I will be surprised if Rune Factory sees the light of day again. In other words, I don't believe a lick of it. It's either gotta be from an official or I won't believe anything.

Also...really important question...if it IS in development...who's making it??? Neverland staff left after Lord of Magna, and the SoS staff is working on SoS Switch. Boobie staff is working on new bouncing boobie game. Other Marvelous staff is helping with Travis Strikes Again. They just finished another Fate/Extella game. Not sure who that leaves free???

I'm skeptical of this guy's legitimacy to the max. But I want it to be true so, so bad...
I might cry if a new RF is confirmed.
I'm still trying to get my hands on a reasonably priced RF3 copy. It's the only one I haven't played yet. I love this series so much. Please be real though I doubt it so.

I don't believe some random Reddit joe shmoe. There's 0% credibility here. They probably pulled it out of their « Mr.Gourmet's hat » so they can get some Reddit karma.

Never ever get excited until it's officially revealed. It's pure speculation otherwise.
