You can see more about it here. c:

It looks better than Cute, in my opinion, and the festivals look adorable. xD There seems to be much more to do in Grand Bazaar than Cute, and it's much simpler than IoH/SI if you've played that before.

Also, the date might get pushed back a bit considering it's Natsume, but yeah, it's a close estimate.

Actually, from what people have been saying there is a LOT less to do in WB than there is in DS:C. There are no mines to begin with. If the wifi is taken out in the NA version then that will take out yet another core thing about the game itself which knowing Natsume is pretty possible. It's also an incredibly easy game to go through and it's a very small area.

It's more of a relaxation game where you just sell things in the bazaar, fish, go jumping for bugs, etc from what those who have played it said.

Ive heard that too (what lexy said). The character cast is a double thumbs up to me so far, but I haven't really heard anything extremely good about the plot.

I love the capability to jump having been added. I am so going to get my « Snuggly Bunny » bunny hop on.

Being able to go in the river and collect sea urchins off of your body is a nice new fresh idea; I like it a lot.

What I absolutely detest about this Harvest Moon title though is that time is always moving no matter what you are doing. Even when in menus, which is extremely harsh beyond words.

But the time moves very slowly in this game, so even though you have to be aware it keeps moving, you should always have enough time to do what you want to do in the day (if you need to take a short break, shut the DS? That pauses the game).

Oy Fin, since you have played it what is the hour to seconds ratio?

By the by, does time pass if you are in a chat window or event with someone?

No, time doesn't pass when you are in the middle of an event or talking to someone.

The time ratio is roughly 1 real-life second = 1 in-game minute, similar to AP, making it the longest day length for a handheld HM game.

Really? D: For a relaxation game, isn't that a bit long? I mean, even in AP I usually wind up going to bed before it's afternoon. Of course, I wouldn't want it to be like MM, that was too fast, but too slow isn't good either...

I don't know what you speak of Raine. Magical Melody has a perfect balance. Time doesn't move indoors and moves at a very reasonable pace while outdoors. With a certain path to follow around town everyday you should never run out of time in MM.

I even came up with a technique to check the areas for foraging certain things that were way off in the mountains; Simply go to Woody's place and ask to build a building, then drag the building around the entire map to hunt for things such as items and where people may be. There really is no excuse for not having enough time when you do that.

Ha, I had no idea the days were so long. Not really a game to pick up when you're on the bus or waiting in a doctor's office, then, with AP-length days. That's sorta brutal for a handheld. /predicts going to bed before noon all winter

*shrugs* Different opionions, kaiser. I think if MM time had been slowed down slightly, it would have been better. Probably because I liked foraging in the mountainous region and it got dark quick.

But yeah, dunno how I feel about GB having the same time system as AP. That seems a little...overkill. I mean, I could understand it perhaps if you had lots and lots to do each day, but this is more of a relaxed game... I guess we'll see.

Oh yeah, there were lots of days where I ran out of things to do before noon. Bazaar days are always super busy though, and if you have a lot to sell you often run out of time then.

MM days were way too short....especially if youre mining...and youre so close to the bottom...saflkjadngafd...painful.

i dont mind having to go to bed before noon most days, id rather have nice long days where i can do whatever rather than feeling really rushed trying to get everything done in time.
