Okay, I'm sorry if this has already been answered somewhere, I checked the stickied threads and the forums and didn't find anything, but I may have missed something about this.
In lemo_the_lemon's guide, it says, under the children sprites:

After love and marriage, you will be raising a child after he or she is born. If you are patient, you will have a daughter, who will be inquisitive about various hobbies. She won’t be calm just wandering around their room. Anyway, your child can be the malicious kind or the kind that will cuddle up to you.
(I am guessing this means you have a daughter first. The only part I wasn’t positive on was the “You will have a daughter” part, but I can’t think of anything else it could be, since it breaks down to “patience/fixed”, “girl/daughter”, “exist”.)
So, I'm confused.
1. Can you get a son and a daughter?
2. Can your child/children have two different personalities? (malicious or cuddly??)
3. What does it mean, "If you are patient, you will have a daughter"?
Only one child, one personality. With the "malicious or cuddly" Lemo probably meant that the child will be malicious in the beginning, if you don't try to befriend them, and later if you want to give them presents, then they will learn love you. Like they act in DS. I think, not entirely sure XD
The patient thing was probably more of an advertisement on the website the paragraph was sourced from, to make the game sound more appealing. Or a secret code on how to get a daughter Also, you kind of do have to be patient in HM games if you want kids :/ XD
1. You can only have one as mentioned by Fretka.
2. I think the malicious or cuddly basically refers to being able to have a boy or girl (with the boy being a bit of a troublemaker and the girl loving you to death or something to that matter)
3. Well, patient because, it takes time for the pregnancy event to occur and for the child to be born; would be my guess.
Harvest Moon needs to get there children aspect up to par this children aspect I thought was going to get better after I seen HM AP now it seems like its going back to its slump.

Yeah, I might marry Georgia to, but I'm leaning more towards Laney and Nori.
I don't know anyone in the game yet, I refuse to look up stuff too early before release because I hate spoiling games beforehand, so I'm gonna go look those two up and see what they are like then, because if they are better than Georgia I may choose them instead.
