So I was wondering if anyone else is entering!

And if you have a work in progress! I'm still trying to figure what my favorite animal is, but I know who my favorite person is... CAM! <3

Since it's a big conest and doesn't end til the end of this year. It would be nice to hear about other people's art and how they came to choose it. So share your stories and your pictures (of your comfortable)

Drawing Requirements

~At least one human character from Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns is included in the drawing.
~At least one Harvest Moon animal is included in the drawing. [Pets count as animals; wild life do not!]
~You may enter either a physical OR digital drawing.

Physical Drawing Requirements

A. The size of your drawing should be NO bigger than 8.5 x 11 inches.
B. On the back of your drawing, include your full name (and your parent/guardian’s name if under 13 years of age), age (parent/guardian’s permission needed if under 13 years of age), and mailing address. If you do not want your real name posted if you win, please be sure to include a nickname. (For winners who do not include a nickname, only their first names will be posted.)
C. Any medium is acceptable.
D. All entries must be postmarked by or before January 14, 2012.
E. Send your entry to:

Digital Drawing Requirements

~The size of your digital drawing must not exceed 5 MB and be in .jpg format.
~Entries can be submitted via the Natsume Website
~Do NOT submit any compressed files (zipped, stuffit, etc.)
~All information must be filled in.
~All entries must be received by or before 11:59 PM (PST), January 14, 2012.
~The winners of the Harvest Moon Tale of Two Towns Drawing Contest will be posted on our website on January 31st, 2012!

*Any submissions that do not meet the requirements above will be automatically disqualified.
*One submission per participant. Multiple submissions will be automatically disqualified.

They said the contest is whoever puts the most effort into their drawings. Not who's is the best. (also will be choosing by your age too) Well at least that's what they told me.

Well December... Gives me a lot of time! And if I draw something now, scan it, and get a tablet for Christmas I can make it better ^^ I'm definitely doing it

Darn...do you have to be on facebook to enter? If so, I'm out. I avoid facebook like the plague. But if there's some other way to enter, I might try it.

No you don't! :D I'll post the information on how to enter. It's through email and mailing. I'll edit my first post with the info!!

EDIT: I do the same thing with twitter. >.>;; So it's okay! ^^

Hmmm...interesting. Thanks for posting the details! ^_^ Maybe I will do it. I'm rotten at coloring things, though...so I'll probably lose. But it still might be fun.

For the email submissions - they say we have to submit those through Natsume's site - Do you have their website address? Or I can just search for it actually...Google here I come! Okay, I think this is it, for others who need it too: http://www.natsume.com/DrawingContest/index.html. It's the same thing you pasted into your post, but at the part where it says to submit entries on the Natsume Website there is a link you can click to go to the online submission form. ^_^

Thanks for that. When I find the submission form I'll post that too. Natsume still hasn't been specific about their requirements for animals. They said no wild life animals count but animals on your farm. So I have no clue if pets count. If anyone can find this out it would be so helpful! Because my brother's favorite animal is his cat, but not sure if his drawing would meet the requirements. When I asked Natsume about it they said any animal.

So they won't be any more specific.

Well the requirements say at least one. So you could just have your brother draw his favourite person, animal (the cat) and favourite farm animal.

I'm going to draw Cam, Cats (They're my favourite animal overall) and a Horse/Chick(ens) if the Horse won't do. I have an idea for it... It involves a lot of flowers... ^^;

Me too! :D Well I'm drawing Cam and the Horse. If the horse isn't a farm animal I will jump off a cliff. -.- My second would be a cow. <3 And my picture involves a lot of flowers too! EEEEEE! Can't wait to see yours!

My brother doesn't really like the ranching aspect of harvest moon he is all for the farming. So having to choose would be so mean to him.

(>.>;; can you tell he's my little brother by the way I talk about him XD)

Anyways, he told me that his favorite part about harvest moon games is the crazy experiments. So he wanted to draw Reina and her crazy plants.

Then my fiance, he said his favorite part is fishing. And his favorite character is Gombe. (go figure XD) He hasn't decided on a favorite animal yet.

I'll still bug Natsume until they answer if pets count as any animal. Cause the wildlife "animals" don't.... then why would you say any animal... >.>;;

Considering the last few entries in the last few contests I've seen, I'm going all out. I actually haven't gotten the game yet (TuT) but I know enough. I'm also going to check with my art teacher to see if I can't get some help. And by help I mean if I can use some supplies. I'd still have to work on MY assignments though.

I might actually change the horse to chicks, since I think it'd be cuter. But I could draw cats climbing on the horse. QuQ
