Hi ♥ First post ever here!
This is easily my favorite game of the franchise because the customization totally does make me feel closer to my character.

My main game is a boy farmer named Derek on Echo Farm. I drew a total blank when it came to naming farms but had just watched The Swan Princess Don't judge me! It was really slow to begin with TuT But I knew to save all the jump I foraged those first couple seasons. I'm almost finished with my first Fall. I haven't given Derek tons of background yet but I know he's besties with Allen and Tina and lord if he could date boys...he and Neil have a love-hate relationship because Derek likes to loiter at the animal shop and not buy anything. Right now he's closest to Tina and Iroha (who kind of scares him).

Ever since Kiki was a little girl, she was always very different from her 5 other sisters. While her sisters were off talking about boys and playing house, Kiki would spend much of her time in a nearby forest imagining things, and going on adventures.
Kiki only had one brother, and he was clearly the family's favorite. Kiki's father strongly believed that men were superior to women, and was disappointed that he ended up with five daughters. Kiki just so happened to be the youngest girl, and the most resented. Not only that, but her peculiarities didn't resonate well with her father who didn't think her to be acting like a "proper lady". There was even once an experience where he smashed every toy she owned because she got dirty while playing in the forest and despite her father's insistence that she was lying, she still thought fairies were real. She was very ostricised from the family, except for her brother of course.
Kiki and her brother were very close to each other. Even though she was much older, she still took it upon herself to play with the little boy and make sure he became a proper gentleman. However, tragedy struck when Kiki was seventeen. Her brother had drowned in a river one fateful fall.
Her father became violent after his death, and Kiki bared much of the brunt from this. Every night, she would pray to the Harvest Goddess for her own safety and would sleep outdoors whenever it was warm enough. She developed kinship with the animals this way.
When she was eighteen, her mother approached her and told her that she would be sent away to live at a farm, perhaps in an attempt to protect her daughter. Apparently her brother was going to work at a farm to help money for the family. They were contracted and would have to pay a large fine if they were to skip out on the deal. Kiki's mother wanted to keep this a secret from the father, so in the night, she cut Kiki's hair and sent her into the mountains as a spitting image of her brother. Kiki thanked the Harvest Goddess for her escape and happily set out into the wilderness she knew.

Personality

Sugar is very childish despite her rough upbringing. Not only does she often find herself speaking in the manner of a young girl, but she even still makes up stories about the nature of things. She is extremely imaginative to the point of getting stuck in her own world and ignoring those around her.
She has a fascination with girls since she is just now beginning to explore that part of her sexuality. Iroha, being the only girl her age automatically captured her attention. Sugar would often be caught spying on her, and at first, Sugar didn't understand this fascination. Every day, Sugar would drop by and leave Iroha a Margurite without saying a word. Sugar is very shy around pretty girls, but is actually considered a bit of a chore by the rest of the village.
Neil and Emma have become somewhat a surrogate family to Sugar, with Emma being a mother, and Neil being the unwilling big brother. Sugar has a tendency to talk Neil's ear off, but he does have a sense of fondness for his friend, though he never would admit that. Sugar also notably annoys Alice, due to her extreme attachment to real fairies. Sugar also makes sure to thank the Harvest Goddess at every opportunity out of gratefulness. Revitalising the village has been Sugar's way of paying thanks to the universe and to the town for her escapre from her past and into her future.

Fate is rather intelligent and curious, but he's really shy and quiet around people, so this trait often goes unnoticed. He almost always wants to sink into the floor whenever he's participating in a festival. So many eyes on him, oh gosh!!
Spends most of his time on either his farm or running around the mountain. He likes to fish, ironically, since he actually doesn't like fish. But hey, it's a good way to make money. Once Fate warms up to people, he likes to talk about books or tea. There are many topics you can talk about with him, but very few he takes genuine interest in. But watch out what you say to him – he isn't too confident about himself, so he might even take jokes personally.
When he's worried about something, he writes it down on a piece of paper, puts it in a bottle and throws in into the river/ocean. (So finally, we know who the littering jerk is!)

He gets along well with Klaus, even likes to listen to him going on about something so 'weird' as holes in macaroni. Klaus is a bit of an idol for Fate, he admires his knowledge, and visits the clinic whenever he can to learn about treating injuries, illnesses, or only to show Klaus his awesome doctor clothes!

Talking about his love life, he's very naive. He didn't really realize that Sanjay liked him until he was asked out. There are many awkward silences during their dates, but Sanjay manages to always ask/tell something that Fate can take interest in.

Only child, and did partially well in school – as long as he didn't have to talk. He wanted to study afterwards, but wasn't sure what. And honestly, sitting in a giant room with lots of other people kind of scared him. When his parents asked him to take over the farm, he wasn't too enthusiastic about it, but after seeing the nature surrounding it, he knew it was what he wanted to do.

bio: Adrian has always been a rather quiet and thoughtful boy, though by no means unfriendly (nor overly passive), though he has a tendency to get lost in his own daydreams, when he is paying attention it's not rare to see him sharing a quiet smile to whomever passes his path, a 'good morning'. though most wouldn't exactly see him fit for farm work, Adrian thoroughly enjoys farm life, he's constantly learning about new crops and how to care for them and each new animal with their own unique personality proves to be an invaluable friend (his cow, Europa, in particular is a brilliant listener). even moreso, each new interesting individual who moves into Echo proves to be rather vibrant in personality (kind or otherwise), which he appreciates, even if he may be too shy to immediately strike up a conversation at first. he is intelligent and quite quick, prone to long rambles about a various of topics (astronomy, botany, philosophy. attending the starry night festival with him will most definitely earn you a long ramble about the beauty of the stars), but in lieu of his quietness behavior this is only seen by those close to him, he hones to a lot of passion for life in general, and believes there is beauty to be found wherever you look, especially in the small and overlooked things. while he generally is soft-spoken and shy, when provoked he can be rather defensive, choosing to defend himself with wit and sarcasm, he is also very, very protective of those close to him and won't hesitate to use these components of his personality aide others in their defense.

history: Adrian came to Echo after scrounging up enough money after college, he has a rather rough past from his high school years that he doesn't speak of, but was a big part of why he moved from the city to the quiet nature of Echo. (mrr. lazy, will elaborate at a later date!)

Adrian walks over with an apologetic smile and asks if you'd like to give it a try.

Adrian frowns and apologizes again, chiding Watson away from you.

Though he catches himself and apologizes for talking too much, whilst blushing.

Adrian seems to be totally lost in his studies, one moment he's hunched over the table, papers strewn about, scribbling something down in a messy scrawl and the next he's over by the window where a telescope has been set up, he peers out of it for long moments before moving back to whatever he was writing. This goes on for awhile and you clear your throat to get his attention, he looks up at you confused and you can see his hair a ruffled mess, clothes askew and glasses perched on his nose, it's not often people see him like this and he looks rather surprised.

Smiling shyly, Adrian explains that he's been up late stargazing, this time around in the year you can see Venus more clearly in the sky, he says he's been tracking its movements out of sheer curiosity.

He agrees with you ardently, and there's a passionate shine in his eyes before he picks up a loose paper and shows you what he's written, all the while speaking fervently of Venus' physiological makeup. You nod along and Adrian invites you to sit with him while you two speak of the curiosities of the universe, afterwards Adrian says he hasn't been able to talk about such things with anyone in a long time, though he apologies for eating up your night and brews you a cup of tea before the brisk walk home.

Result: +3000 FP and one Earl Grey Tea.

He looks a bit surprised but nods and gestures you over to the telescope, as you peer out Adrian speaks of how he used to look at the stars every night as a child, they gave him a sense of hope and wonder, they never fail to make him happy. He adjusts the telescope away from the view of Venus onto the star Polaris, while you gaze he says this star, the North star, has always made him happiest, with it's shining glow it makes him feel not as alone. Quietly he murmurs that you remind him of Polaris in a way, shining, warm and bright, you look up at him and he shakes his head with a blush, saying he's just mumbling to himself. He thanks you for taking an interest and listening.

Result: +5000 FP.

Adrian ducks his head down, embarrassed and a tad ashamed before looking back up at you, brows knit and jaw tight. He tells you that he's too busy to talk right now and that you should find something else to do.

Bio: Mia grew up in a boisterous house with her parents and 2 older and 2 younger brothers. It was during her fourth year in college that her father asked Mia and her brothers if anyone of them would like to start taking care of the family farm since the demands of his own job were stopping him from having the time to take care of the farm.
