Hannah was a goth during her teenage years, but she retained her childish, and kind-hearted personality. However, her extremely strict foster parents wouldn't have any of that.... One day, she was shocked to see all her gothic stuff being taken away, and she was sent to a private boarding school soon after.

Upon turning 19 and graduating from said boarding School, she heard word that her foster parents are thinking of sending her to a farm, to "try to turn her life around". Upon seeing the state of the town, she vowed to turn the town around, and get it back on its feet. And to try to find black-colored clothing to be close as a goth as possible.

Hannah is unusually strong, being able to lift things about ten times her own weight. She is also a bit of an artist, and an decorator in mind. She hopes the town will enjoy her designs. She also adores fishing, and animals.

Bunny is an fun-loving, can-do kind of girl. She loves helping others and almost always has a smile on her face! If you can believe it, that grin gets a little brighter when she finds the time to read, even if it's just for a few minutes. She also has an uncanny love of robots and machinery, and a fierce hatred of cicadas. You can usually find her working hard to bring happiness to the townsfolk, be it a surprise present, a joke she just thought up or just checking in on how their day is going.

Compassion, kindness and gratitude are three virtues that she lives by. Sure, she's a little naive but she makes up for it in sheer determination! It takes a lot to get this girl down... though Neil seems to be doing a bang-up job without even trying. They've developed a bit of a rivalry, which admittedly isn't the best thing if you're just starting out as a rancher and he's the only animal seller in these parts. Yes, yes. She knows she's making things difficult. It's just she strongly believes you should put your best foot forward, be as nice as possible, love thy neighbor! And Neil seems to be as far from that as can be. Well, unless you're an animal. Though, lately... he has been a little nicer for some reason...

Backround:
Bunny never liked the outdoors much. Her favorite things to do were all inside activities: reading, painting, and twirling about the house in various outfits. So, when her family attempted to give her a coming of age "gift", a new life out in the country where she could get a taste for working for herself, she outright refused! "Not in a million years, there's bugs out there" she cried! They retaliated with the most effective threat: revealing her birth name to the world. Gasp! Horror! Mom and Dad never saw the problem. It was a family name, dignified and respectable! But, to Bunny, if anyone ever discovered her secret it was as good as being dead. And so, with a lot of reluctance and far too much whining, she was forced out on into the unknown to take over the family farm.

The first few days were pretty rough, especially having to gather critters for when times were tough, but as time went on she started to get the hang of it. Even though she never liked to do much at home, she was a disciplined and determined young lady. Give her a task and she will see it through to the end, and then some! Eventually she began to see the beauty in nature and feel pride in her accomplishments on the farm. She was finding hidden talents she never dreamed of and met so many new people her head started to spin! (The only friends she'd really known besides family were the characters in her books) With three seasons under her belt, she's still alive with minimal emotional trauma. Maybe outside isn't so bad after all!

(Um. Cicadas are still the worst, though. She spends the majority of her summer mountain trips covering her ears and fleeing.)

Option 2: Do nothing
A few hours pass and Bunny is still reading. She doesn't look up until she's completely finished her book! She is very embarrassed and wonders why you didn't say anything. She feels awful for wasting your time like this. She can't even make it up to you because she's behind in her farm work now.

As you walk into the River area and you hear a scream. You rush over the bridge and find Bunny being chased by cicadas. Before you can do anything she runs forward and collides with you.

Bunny apologizes profusely and runs back to town. She may have been crying...

Option 2: Are you ok?
Bunny nods and apologizes for not looking where she was going. She explains that cicadas terrify her and she can't do anything but run away when they appear.

Option A: They're not so bad!
Bunny gets really embarrassed. She knows it's not something as scary as a monster but it's just as frightening to her. She leaves.

Option B: I understand.
Bunny smiles and thanks you for not making fun of her. She says she feels a bit better now that you're around, and asks if you would like to sit with her by the river. There are a few awkward moments and a lot of blushing. Later on, she thanks you again. She used to get teased a lot for her phobia and is very glad you're not the type of person who would do that. She thinks you're a great boyfriend!

While Bunny loves anything creative, she also has a soft spot for machinery and robots. These unusual interests (for a romantic personality) help her to understand and construct more technical blueprints.

Never tell Bunny she's too skinny! She's been nagged at and picked on for her small size as long as she can remember so that's one thing she absolutely hates to hear. (I'm lookin' at you, Rebecca =_=)

Klaus rubs her the wrong way sometimes, mainly because he reminds her of her father. He was a very no-nonsense type of person and Bunny grew tired of constantly defending her silliness.

Bunny's secret goal before coming to the farm was to become a princess. Sure, it's unrealistic, but it's a dream from childhood she never could grow out of.

Bunny's favorite meal is breakfast, so it's not uncommon to find her eating pancakes at night. She's even had breakfast three times in one day!

Bunny loves using the makers because while they're whirring away, she can catch up on her reading!

Bunny really likes vacations because she gets to see all the places she reads about in her books in for real!

Winter, Y1:
Bunny spends most of her time tinkering with her makers and taking care of her livestock. She'll make a run to the mines in the morning, and travel to the Island if she has time in the evening, but she's just taking it slow this Winter. It's nice to relax after a hectic year. Also, her birthday's this season!

Bunny won by a landslide at the cow festival but lost the chicken festival. She was up against 3 Silkies! She thinks it was rigged... it also may have been Neil being a poop. She's excited for the sheep festival, it's coming up soon!

For Winter Harmony Day Bunny just gave everyone a chocolate. It's not fair to pick favorites when it comes to gifts! ... But maybe she'll change her tune next year.

Bunny's first attempt at pets didn't go so well. She's great with her livestock so she thought it'd be easy! But maybe... she just had too many things going to add another responsibility. It was really overwhelming for her and it got to the point where she forgot to feed them. Once was enough, she knew she wasn't ready to own a pet.
One day she'll be able to give them the right amount of care but it's best that they're with Rod for now. However, she's gained a new respect for Rod and pet ownership. She's trying harder than ever to befriend him and learn how to balance her time more effectively.

Bunny and Neil have smoothed things over, more or less. She now accepts his bouts of insensitivity and he's making a solid attempt to be less coarse. They're on their way to becoming pretty good friends, but no funny stuff! They're 100% platonic bros.

Allen and Bunny are pretty uneventful. He's a little less rude than when he first arrived but the main problem is they don't really connect like the others. Besides, she hates going to the salon. It takes forever to get her hair done! She could be reading or tinkering or doing a million other more interesting things... so they don't see each other often.

Soseki has moved into town and Bunny is completely fascinated by him. He's very different from the other villagers and there seems to be so much she could learn from him! Bunny immediately did some investigating of her own and discovered his most favorite gifts to receive. Armed with her big scoop, she makes daily trips to deliver her present and listen intently to his wonderful stories.

Today was my birthday! Most of my friends were working so I did all my chores until they were done. It was starting to feel like every other day, but then everyone wished me a happy birthday and I even got presents!
I also ended up asking Soseki to the Starry Night Festival tomorrow. He almost said no. That would've ruined things a bit... but I'm really excited now!

All day all I could think about was the festival tonight. I was so excited I couldn't sit still! I think I brushed my animals 3 times in a row...
It was really great being with Soseki! He's so nice and interesting... I did feel bad for making him climb that whole mountain when he wasn't feeling well but he seemed to really enjoy it once we reached the top! The stars were so beautiful... I saw a shooting star and made a wish!

Infact, I think yours is the best written character in this topic! Most everyone's would fit a Harvest Moon game perfectly, but yours goes above and beyond just that - Emmeline is so well fleshed-out and written she could be a character in a really good book! I like that she has so much depth and thought put into her, has positive and negative character traits (yet even her negative traits compliment her whole personality and character to make her that much more endearing), and feels really genuinely lifelike! You did such a good job! And I can't wait to read the rest of her heart events when they're posted :D

I'm wondering something though, what is the minimum age the MC can be? I wanted to make my MC be about 16 years old (since I take an awful lot of time to actually get married and do any of those things and it's my actual age too ) at the start. Would something like this really be acceptable?
