Once the game comes out I can say with 100% certainty there will be like 50 topics about who you married/who your favorite marriage candidates are so I wouldn't worry about it too much lol

Each candidate will have five individual threads about why they should be loved and 5 more for why they should be hated.

Yup, the waifu/husbando wars are coming :p They always do. Luckily they weren't too bad for SoS compared to past games that I've seen (ANB was a fun time)

Honestly I kinda dropped off when SOS was released because so many threads popped up in so little time that I couldn't keep up. It might happen again this time but at the very least I can laugh a bit before the really crazy theories pop up.

True, once the game is actually OUT, I'm likely to disappear unless I have a specific topic to talk about, like getting stuck with an event or not being able to find any insert-name-here, or catch a certain type of fish...etc. I'm not able to enjoy being on the forum when an entire page of new topics pops up every day...it's only fun when I can keep up with it.

I'm not really interested in people comparing spouses as in 'so-and-so is better than whosamacallit', but I AM interested in seeing if people change their minds after they play, and what swayed them, especially if they were really sure who they'd go for, all along. I find those the most fun...when a character sweeps you off your feet without you expecting it or even having thought they were your type (like Sanjay was for me in ANB.)

That's the kind of thread I want to see, though...once we've been playing a while, to know which characters were the most surprising to people, who won them over when they hadn't even seemed to be in the race at first. I think Kirie said she thinks it'll be Hinata since he has some startlingly adorable events or something like that. I wanna know, too

On the contrary, those were some of my favorite times on this forum. Neil 4 lyfe, even if I agree he is the bigger « Duck Quacker ».

Personally I'm stuck in a 4-way between Hinata, Yuzuki, Ludus, and Wayne.

Perhaps it would be easier to say I just don't like Ford or Inari?

I'll probably go with Yuzuki or Hinata. Guess we'll have to see!

I couldn't even vote in my own poll...I do NOT know which bachelor I'm most interested in. If I was forced to make my best guess, I could only narrow it down to 'probably Yuzuki or Ludus'.

EDIT: If people really start posting contentious threads left and right, I am running the heck out of here. That or I'll have to mince around very carefully. I can't handle conflict, it makes my stomach hurt, even on the internet, and it's not worth developing an ulcer over a game. (Not for me, anyway. I always run from conflict and drama, irl, too.)

technically I messed up voting then, sorry! For the last 6 months I was convinced it would be Yuzuki but just seeing a few events has made me pick Hinata. That could change, but I sincerely doubt it as the only other one I personally find halfway appealing is Ludus.

I always scroll by those types of online wars. Although I have been playing BM since the SNES days, I have never gotten deeply attached to any of the characters (that could change, of course). I mainly play these types of games because I think they're fricken adorable and they're great time sinks.

Anyway, while I understand there are many out there who feel very passionate about the characters in this series and can develop a deep attachment to them, I always find it best for me to just stay out of those discussions. Like Lenna, I say wait it out or just avoid those posts as much as possible.

Man I still don't even know. As I said a bit ago I think I might honestly just be a heartbreaker to see all the events because I like too many of the candidates. It doesn't help that my opinion constantly fluctuates on the (human) bachelorettes that I'm most interested in at any given moment, too. Right now it's Siluka; just the other day it was Konami; when I saw the game on the eShop it was Lisette; and who even knows if Stephanie will be around.
At least my opinion of Inari is stable. Inari doesn't have to prove to me that Inari is worth taking up space in my house like the rest of them do Inari is already the most precious perfect magical smol good creature, and breathes so much life into my character's lore.

But, I want to give myself the chance to 'fall for' a bachelorette if I can, because I describe Inari in the same way I describe my housemate's cat. She is the most precious perfect wonderful soft can do no wrong even though she does. Kinda weird to have me describing the cat and a waifu indistinguishable from the other lol, my love for Inari isn't really waifu-like, or at least not at the moment... though if none of the others 'woo' me (so much as are 'cool! yes!' ) I have someone, definitely.
