Part-time Job Bug

I'm on the 3rd of Spring and for my first job I chose Brushing Cows... But it didn't give me a brush to use and I can't do anything. I had no choice but to turn the game off. Did they really expect me to be able to afford a brush after just getting my farm? I thought they would have supplied one temporarily. Now I'm sad that I have to go through that entire day again.

Good to know I'm not the only one who just got a bug on the third day. Took the Sheep Shearing Part-time job, but was not given a shearer...

Had to shut the game off to get out of the mini-game.

It's a bug in the Japanese version that wasn't fixed by any of their content patches, according to the wiki. Seems it only affects the sheering/milking/brushing part time jobs. Has nothing to do with you owning the tool or not yet.

The wiki recommends if you're doing any of those part time jobs to save before you start them and reload if you get the bug. When I played I only got it once, but it still really sucks :/

Huh....I took a sheep sheering job and I don't own any shears. Worked just fine for me. Wonder why.

it doesn't happen every time. it's more of a random bug. that's why if you save first, you can avoid it!

This sounds like an absolutely horrid bug.

@ the others here: Can you bring your own brush, or do you have to use the one provided by the game?

I thought I moved too soon when the character was doing the brush equip animation and thus ended up without a brush.

I had my own brush. The game just forces a brush on you when you begin the job.

Oh dear, thanks for the warning! I usually do the jobs early in the morning so I wouldn't have lost much but that really stinks x.x I'll just have to save before hand.

Glad I knew this beforehand so it won't end up like that bug I got in Animal Parade.
