Just noting that there's a Wisp for Black Carrot seeds in the Pastilla desert! It's in the north eastern area, above the animal shop close to a rock and the north eastern 12 PM Chamomile Wisp; I found it at about 12:10 PM.

Is it alright to plant crops, when they're out of season?

Yes, you can plant things out of season, you’ll just be risking them having mutations.

You can plant any seed in any soil at any time, but crops planted in non-preferred soil/seasons will have lower HP. You may need to baby them a little with fertilizer, especially if you're trying to mutate them. If you highlight a crop and there's blue streaks going through the picture, it's at low health and needs to be fertilized. Otherwise, the crop may end up withering, especially if bad weather hits. Golden sparkles indicate high health and increased chances of mutating.

Edit - I just noticed that the mutation that I was going to mention was just mentioned by Cherubae. I would appreciate if someone deleted this post.

Has anyone noticed new wisps cropping up as time goes on? I just hit year 3 and I'm noticing a lot of wisps for crops I haven't seen before. Was I just unlucky before or do they not spawn at the beginning of the game?
