oooh, that was part of the joshing.
actually, the only way you can get the horse racing minigame (I haven't gotten it yet) is from Kathy. So I guess that's her "purpose".

I'm going to seriously smack Ushi. I remember responding to this HOURS ago.
there is no real point to the jewelry. you don't get anything beneficial in terms of game play. you can wear it and see it on your character. you can't sell it or give it as a gift.
you can only have 30 pieces, no matter what sized vanity you have.

no changing the camera angle.
if you want to keep one shining yarn, do this:
have a shining yarn in your hand and then go to the toolbox. then put the remainder of your shining yarn in there. then put the shining yarn back in your rucksack and put it in the cabinet. then get the yarn out of the toolbox and ship it.
that's the only way I was able to separate them. if you still can't manage it, I can try to explain it differently.

Pick one yam and put in in your fridge/tool box, then pick another yam and ship it. Ok and if you want to do this with more just do the same thing but many times.
Thats the way I do it. Hope it helps.
---------------------------------------- Edit: How come in the USHI screen shots for TOT you can see some harvest sprites walking around your farm? Also you can obviously see the horse with its sattle on but your not on it !!?

that's definitely the way to do it if you're planning on saving a certain number, but once you have already grouped them together in your rucksack and then decide to save a certain amount, the way I described is the only way to do it.
