Hi Guys!
so I own a small studio with local industry veterans and AMAZING artists. We recently decided to move forwards in developing our own HM game. We plan to officially announce the title on monday, and run a kickstarter in a few weeks time.
We really want to get the community involved, and I absolutely love the what make an HM game thread somewhere else in this forum.
We really want to make a game that HM fans will enjoy, and we hope to get lots of similar input from the community as we make the games! I'll post any updates here so you guys can stay up to date! for now I'll just leave this little teaser to whet your apetites!
What do you guys think?

{UPDATE Sept 24 2013}
Okay so here is a poll for you guys for your first update! Please vote to see what we reveal first! :D
[UPDATE October 2 2013 Maps]
To our dedicated fans here at FOGU! Time for your next update!
As requested here are some images of Demo Town. Now its extremely important to mention the following.
1. The actual EVERYTHING will be several times larger. The town, the farm, the farming area, and the surrounding area & forest! This was designed simply to give an idea of the art and play style. That having said, as mentioned we were inspired by older games, and opted for an overhead 2d approach. However we decided to modernise it with a slightly more vibrant art style remeniscient of games like Zenonia. For those who are mobile skeptics, I reccomend checking it out. I feel its a game that has done a great job of making games like these work on mobile (and for those of you who have not heard, Apple is also launching a game-pad for IOS games).
However we also chose this style, because games of this style, just play so well on other handheld devices such as the 3DS, PS vita and others, yet remain accessible for bigger consoles such as the Xbox, PS and PC.

....

So what do you guys think?
For our next update I think we'll start disclosing a little bit more about the planned features! :D
here is also a small FAQ in anticipation of some of the questions that may be asked :)
Why have you chosen this art style?
We chose this art style, because we wanted something that would allow us a certain degree of artistic freedom, but remain accessible and vibrant on mobile platforms. We feel we have not only managed to achieve that, but also an art style that will continue to be stunning in any other platform we release the game on, be it the PS Vita, Tablets, PC, etc.
The farm looks tiny! Why is it so small?!
As mentioned previously these maps are not indicative of the final layouts of the game. We fully intend the farm, town and forest maps to be at least 4 times bigger than what is displayed in these images.
I like the chickens!
Thank you! So do we!
What is the thing in the forest?!
Stay tuned to find out more ;)
