D-did anyone activate Calvin's request scene yet??

My game friggin FREEZES halfway through the event EVERY TIME I DO IT. I must have gone down and activated it at least five times... it always freezes in the same spot....

Did this happen to anyone else? Was anyone able to sucesfully get past the request activation scene?

Sometimes when I played MM, the game had a 50/50 chance of freezing during the Pumpkin Festival. Maybe you can get it to work, eventually...?! ;~;

I started playing about 30 minutes ago and when I loaded my file twice (after restarting) my character automatically started running south and she wouldn't stop. I got her to stop after reloading 3 times.

His request event is when you get him to five hearts then go to the 10th level of the mine. I don't know what he asks for becuase... erm it freezes before I can finish the event

But I know if you can't complete this event you can NEVER MARRY HIM D: Also I'll never be able to get past the 10th floor of the mine forever now...

I'm really hoping this is just my disc....REALLY hoping

No man... I tried like FIVE times and it freezes at the EXACT same moment without fail... not even like a little lag before... just sudden FREEZE and the sound gets all funky...

It works in the Japanese version. Something that big would definitely be put on the bug list in the Japanese ToT Wiki. And that even lists things that aren't really bugs, like "The Shining Baumkuchen doesn't have a database entry"

What happens is the event begins... Calvin is on the tenth floors and he's all "Oh hey thar Penelope come check this awesome mural type thing out"

Then she walks over and he says a little something about the 'fruit of the gods' while he's facing the mural... then at the exact moment where he turns around it freezes... at the very same second ALWAYS

Maybe, just maybe, if you haven't done so already, why not try activating the event after a few in game days? Or reloading your wii?

Well, I played through about another week then tried again twice...

It froze both times in the exact same place...

I even raised his heart level adn activated his confession scene without any problem (and it was so cute omg ^^)

But that had no effect on it...

It's just a weird glitch 0.0

I'm going to see if I can get a new disc tomorrow and see if that fixes it :/

I can tell you the fruit if it might help.. but you probly need to get through the event to give it to him.....
it's an apple... (i spend alot of time on the 10th floor and calvin isn't even there xD)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but...

The exact same problem occurs in my game. I've been checking this forum to see if anyone else experienced the freeze, and it looks like you have. I exchanged my CD for a new one and it still does not work. I'm going to try it on my friend's Wii today, but if you're having the same problem, things are not looking good.

My only hope is maybe there are some settings I can change that will fix the problem. Otherwise...I won't even go into how much Natsume phails.
