i was just wondering,,,,,

coz i read in some forum that Kyle leaves his child and wife after the "Birth scene"....


myt have read it somewhere.....


But is that true?.... T.T...why,,,,,

Yes it's true. It's because the villagers used him. Doesn't exactly make him father of the year to ditch his children and wife. Supposedly he comes back at a later time, presumably after you beat all the dungeons or meet some other hard to accomplish goal.

Or at least he feels they've used them. It's hard to say without having gotten to that part myself yet.

Just to add on to this Myah.
Kyle stayed atleast 10 years after being used.

He finds out he was being used when the school is built ( it becomes available when your baby is born, 15 days after marraige )

Now the event where he leaves, your child looks like it's about 12.

So i'm guessing, something else happened in the 10 or so years not shown.

He's about to leave
then your child comes down the stairs
They speak, and Kyle gives the child something.

Then Kyle leaves with the child shouting after him.

So the storyline goes like.....

you go to the town.....build the school while doing your "future" wife's quests...after that.....

you marry that lady.......after quest is done......


you have a baby after 15 days......

(when will you finish the school?.....)

then after 10 years-----> you mean.....after 10 years in the game?...you have to wait for ten years?.........or is there a flash thing saying "after 10 years..."

Woah, wait up here... where is everyone getting the idea of Kyle leaving because he thought he was being used?

My memory is kind of bad, but in a general sense, he left because he had to fullfil a mission only he could do o.0
He regained his memories, but he didn't have time to tell his child all the details directly, so he left a message in the form of a book. (yeah, realistically, this makes no sense, but that's what happened)

In specigic, before he left, he mentioned something about conquesting four caves. Well, anyways, I just want to say that Kyle is not as bad as you guys think he is >.>

Right. So I hope this clears things up for everyone. I'm wondering if I should translate that scene word-for-word, as everyone seems to be unclear of what happens...?

Oh, by the way, if I recall correctly, the second generation started on the 8th year, so there's about a 7 year time-skip after you build the school.

this is what i get so far.....

When you have the baby your wife suggests building a school. The town mayor will let you build one for 100,000g and 1 000 wood. It takes 10 days to build once you buy it.

Then when you try to enter the school when it's finished you get told you were being used.
The screen blacks out and we skip ahead to when Kyle is about to leave.

We arn't sure fully yet.

But it's either;
Kyle WAS being used
or
Kyle FELT he was being used

I'm waiting for Myah to get to that point to clarify it.

No worries DCo since I got my copy in I should be at that point by tomorrow or so (if I play at the rate I'm playing now) and I'll take on the task of translating it. It did feel a little harsh, not sure who said his reason was feeling betrayed first. I just mindlessly passed on the information ^_^


As a side note, I've decided to go after Rosalind since no one seems to have done her yet. Making that portion of the guide as I go. Hooray for having access to the fall fields so I can grow sweet potatoes right away~ (double hooray for her telling me they were sweet potatoes as I didn't know the japanese name off the top of my head)

As a side note, I've decided to go after Rosalind since no one seems to have done her yet. Making that portion of the guide as I go. Hooray for having access to the fall fields so I can grow sweet potatoes right away~ (double hooray for her telling me they were sweet potatoes as I didn't know the japanese name off the top of my head)

it seems like it's not those normal sweet potato (サシマイモ) that she likes but baked one (not that one Yue sell either, the one she likes is brown) so you must cook it and you cant cook till part 2 D:
you can get sweet potato once from quest though

and her other gifts are also hard to get as well
