Good news! I don't have to rely on what little bit of natural light I had access to early in the mornings on the weekends for light any more! We (meaning mom) called in yesterday morning and reported that the AC in our apartment wasn't working properly (we hit 90 inside...and my bedroom was at 75% relative humidity on Monday morning...had to go buy a dehumidifier (June's been and EXPENSIVE month!) which took out a lot of water, but also added to the heat). Last night, I was able to sleep in a comfy below 70 degrees apartment, all thanks to our brand new state of the art window AC unit (feeling SO blessed!). It was even cool enough last night before bed that I got to work on my Story of Seasons block a bit!

Here's the latest update!

Wow! That looks like it will be finished soon! It is really impressive work, and so cute. I love the Alpacas. (And of course the aforementioned chicken butt.)

@Arcy---I totally agree! In the past, there has been enough squares to have more than one quilt, one of which was auctioned off at the Child's Play Charity auction dinner thing, and then Toni (the lady who puts the quilts together) held a raffle for the other quilt (with the proceeds going to CP, of course :) )

@Hik4ri-SoS---Thanks!!! :) I can't remember how big the quilts end up being. I think it depends on how many blocks the SpriteStitch community members finish in a give time. The information for this year's (actually, it's also next year's) quilt can be found here http://www.spritestitch.com/forum/viewt ... =4&t=15908, and the previous years can be found on the website as well!

It will be a while before the charity quilt(s) is put together...sometime late next year, I'm thinking. I'll keep you guys updated!
