cream pumpkin & white pepper

need help to get ,i know magic peppers and squash but what elevation and fertilizer and soil type

Cream pumpkin = squash, winter, high elevation, grassy.
White pepper = magic pepper, winter, medium to high elevation, grassy or swampy.

Neither needs other special requirements or fertilizer.

I'll add that while neither needs a trigger fertilizer, fertilizing as much as possible is highly recommended. Both of these crops are on the higher end of the difficulty scale. Cream pumpkins in particular seem to really HATE to mutate. I've been unable to get ANY without daily fertilizing and using Rowan as much as possible.

(might be a bit better post-patch though)

Yeah, since both are winter crops, it was probably worsened by the weather.

Maybe now they're a bit easier post patch.

But yeah, don't forget to keep them healthy if you want mutations.

Getting the cream pumpkin seed rewards was faster to unlock seeds than getting mutations from like 500 crops. That was pre-patch tho.

Yeah, I overall didn't care for spamming the requests for seeds. Plus, I am super stubborn about some things: by the Hgdess, if I decide I am going to unlock the seeds the HARD way, I AM GOING TO UNLOCK THE SEEDS THE HARD WAY. Dumb, I know.
