Looking at Fogu, the list for fish simply lists the bait and lures that work, without mentioning the type of rod. Is it only the bait that matters and any rod will do? Also, what difference does your level make (such as being at "intermediate" for example)?
- The bait is what entices the fish to bite. The fish like different bait/lure/fly
- The rod is what helps reel in the fish. A better rod helps pull in fish easier.
Ideally, you'll use the best rod and swap the bait, depending on what you're trying to catch.
