Hello everyone,
I've started this game not too long ago. I ordered this game like 7 or 8 months ago, but I haven't had much time to play it until now. Right now I'm on 1st year Spring 29th, and my status is- I own a horse, a dog, and a rucksack, and I think I have approx. 10000G, but I am not sure what to do. Should I go for upgrading house (to get married) or earn more money to build a chicken coop? Since there're more texts and new added chellenges, it's a little hard for me to set up the goal and play.

Have you been giving gifts to townspeople? You can get a lot of sunstones (and there are quite a few around the island, just look for them, there is a topic here about it). I think it's better to unlock all islands before getting married, and in the meantime give gifts to everyone, including the boy/girl you like. To unlock the islands you need the sunstones.

I think you must upgrade house to get the kitchen and the refrigerator? These items are essentials, I think.

This game is so hard. So far is the hardest HM I have played, and I have played a lot of them! I am in year 2, summer, and still have no cow! Mining is not a good source of money unless you mine a lot and can go down to the bottom (I have been to the 75th floor only, so far, and I do love mining!).

It depends on your priorities.

If I wanted to get married at an instant, I would want to go with the upgrade and only give gifts to my bachelor/bachelorette while selling everything else.

But if I wanted to make money, I would definitely get the chicken coop and then get the animal barn because that's the easiest way I've made money until I got the greenhouse.

I hope I just didn't break the rules, but that's what I would do. We can't play the game for you, but just experiment a little in the game and see which plan works best for you.

Thank you so much for such kind replies! Right now I'm in 1st year Summer, and as I get to play a bit more, I think I'm getting used to the gameplay. It was quite difficult (I played loH in Japanese, too) at first (maybe because it's almost same as loH but different), but now I'm having so much fun! I'm trying to woo Will the "Dreamboat" and Vault (my current husband in loH as well), but I really like watching heart events of all characters, so I'm gonna try to raise everyone's heart levels (and try to earn money at the same time). I really like the farming/planting this time compared to loH, because it's much easier to grow and somehow I get better ranking crops.
