ToT help topic-> quilt, blue feather, tools, crops, animals

I have Maya at five hearts, and she asked me to give her an Eel so she can make Eel pie. I didn't manage to catch one on the day she asked (I caught two Conger Eels, but that apparently doesn't count), so does that mean I failed, or can I take my time with this?

No, you can take your time, there's no limit.

BTW eels aren't in the ocean, they're in the lake and the part of the river next to the hilltop plot.

you can also find Eels in the river just before you go to the waterfall area.

Also, could anyone tell me where to find a Char? The sprite said in the rivers but I can't seem to find it...

Its at the base of the waterfall in the caramel river district, just follow the river upstream and you'll find an entrance to another stage, and thats the caramel river waterfall.
PS. you can also find a monkey and there's a hot spring around there

you can find char in the uppermost part of the river- in the area that has a waterfall.

I'm trying to make the Good Herb Fish for Daren's rainbow recipe, but I can only ever make "Decent" Herb Fish. Any tips?

the fish need to add up to 280G (some say 300G). if you go over and make perfect herb fish, it will still satisfy the rainbow recipe.

I found a mistake.....or at least, I think I did.
In the Town Hall section, the price ranges for the plots of land are off. They're all for sale at 4500 G, not the listed price ranges.

Also, in some of the rainbow recipes, it says "Good Quality ~insert product~...NO BETTER!" In reality, I used a perfect tomato in place of a good one in Ben's RR, so it should realy say "Good Quality ~insert product~ or Better."

Arg. I can't for the life of me figure out how to upgrade my tools, and it's really frustrating me! I'll bring in some iron ore, and Ramsey still won't let me upgrade any of my tools to iron; they're all locked. I've tried to upgrade them while having the specific tool equipped; while holding the ore in my hands; etc. Nothing gives. How do I upgrade my tools?
