okay, so mine and farm. Supposivly(spelled wrong xD) strawberrys and sweetpotatoes. Hmm, for some reson my FP with everyone wont got up. I'll give them they're fave gifts (if they're aviable) and I talk to everyone everyday but nothing xD. Is this because I'm married, or very impatient? xD
But anywho, k, thanks for the info.

If you already built the school be sure you do not visit it. When you do Gen2 starts.
What I did was plant my entire field with Strawberries and let the whole season pass by while my monsters watered and harvested the crop. In the mean time I went to every dungeon and collected a full stack (9) of every monster drop and each metal for crafting in Gen2.

I think that giving them their favorite items is probably the slowest way to raise their FP points. But don't forget to them their "birthday gift", though.
Probably, the fastest way and guaranteed way to raise the townspeople's FP is to talk to them is doing their request and talking to them during festivals comes second.
I'm not sure if this is right, but I think that to do some of the requests in the game, you need to raise a person's FP to a certain level for you to do the next request. So don't totally ignore giving gifts
I looked at my earnings so far and crops accounted for about 80% of my money in RF2!! Like meroku-hime said, you can just plant crops and you'll make money in no time!! I But you shouldn't necessarily ignore fishing or mining in the dungeons either because if lets you level up you fishing and mining skills. The higher your skills are at something the less RP and HP that you'll use
Also don't forget to tame monsters out in the dungeons for example the Goblin Pirate in Blessia Island( he will water your fields for you) and the Ant in Trieste forest (he will harvest your crops for you) because they will save you time and do your chores for you!!
