I failed when I tried.
Mainly because I was expecting something more than just a 'STAAAART tap the a button blah blah' to come up on the screen to signal that it was time to start.
I sat there staring at it for like, 12 seconds in confusion.

It does sound like a crappy prize. I expected something better, like, a turnip? D: A seed? Perhaps even a puppy since there isn't one in Rune Factory.

XP this is sorta off topic, but since it's about a festival competition too... how do you guys win the fishing contest? How large must the fish be?

i got a 14 cm Sardine and i lost. T_T

^A walkthrough said it needed to be at least 18 cm.

I used the formula on a carrot. D: Julia is lagging behind in LP and I want her carrots.

Wow is that ever a coincidence... I'm on the Fishing Festival too! (assuming you just did it). We must be on the same day @_@
I don't even know where to catch Sardines... I caught one in de Sainte Coquille Park during Spring but now I can't find it. I'll have to look around.

^You can easily catch sardine on the dock in Blessia island. And also, im not even married yet, so i think you're ahead of me.. im busy wooing every single girl. XP i only have alicia and rosalind left at 9/9 hearts for me.

I'm on that day too... I can only get a stupid 16cm one... darn... *siiigh* does it help to charge the rod before you cast it out?
