Fish alot, mine alot, fight more monsters. Just do extra amounts of what you normally do.

Catch a Wolf in the Padova Mountains and bring it with you when you water your crops in caves (Assuming you are growing crops there? if not do so immediately!). I'm pretty sure you get EXP for the monsters it kills too. I don't know how much EXP each monster gives since you can't see the actual amount of EXP you have (just a bar unfortunately), but those Panthers on Blessia Island seem like they would give a good amount of EXP... XD

There are many good ways of level up. The best way I found in 1st Gen was to repeat Tanya's trials. Sure, it can become tedious after the 50th or so time, but not only do you gain EXP, you earn a little money as well. Let me tell you, money is definately needed for 2nd Gen.

The best lvl up spot for me was on the old ship in Blessia Island, after 6pm, when it generates 2 dark panthers for me to fight simultaneously. I usually kill them from 6 pm to 11 pm. giving me half a bar of exp every night XD.

Also, fish while the monster fights. In Padova, where the wolves are, was where I liked to. I took out the first wolf and its green gate thing, and then fished off the bridge leading to the other gate, but didn't kill the other gate.

This way, my silver wolf, who seriously took everything down in 1 hit by the time it was at 10 hearts, would kill the wolves as they appear and I would fish and get money. Since the gate was on my right and the appearing wolves on the left, it just kept happening. If I stood on the bridge and fished down, my wolf never crossed the bridge to kill the gate.

I found this was nice. Padova just seemed one of the stronger places, so it made sense, in my mind, to train here.

The wolves were always a pain for me to fight, so I chose the Orc Vikings instead. They're the ones that spawn in the first region of Padova Mountains ^.^ Just keep blasting them with fireballs (magic levels up two skills at once, so its better than a weapon) until you're out of RP. Then just fight with your normal weapon for a bit. ;) The Vikings give plenty of exp. but in my opinion are easier to defeat than the wolves.
