I gave Ray Grape juice on his birthday for a normal responce....
And his FP didn't go up

I always thought it was a scripting error; that's why both of the options are up there. However, i personally believe it's the grape juice. XP

Maybe you accidentally gave it to Roy instead of Ray?

Also, sorry everyone for the slow 2nd Gen updates on my part. I can only do like 2-3 maps per game-day because I have to be thorough and I don't want to miss anything. Plus, I still have to play the game too; water all my crops, gifts, school, etc. so I can only fish at afternoon/night. Sorry about it ><

Yeah, I'll confirm it 100% when I hit Fall but I think you're right.

Also, the tomato juice thing for Herman - I don't think it's a scripting error, he seems genuinely not to like it. It's Summer 3, I've talked to him every and on every festival (though the ones he hosts may not count), and I've given him a Tomato Juice per day for 9 days... and he's still at 1 FP. Either he's stubborn or tomato juice has no effect.

Either Marvelous or Natsume should be punched. After an extensive period of hibernation I've reached 2nd gen 8th of Fall (Ray's birthday). Guess what? Now Ray accept fried rice as birthday gift and give normal response toward grape juice... it doesn't matter really. Both fried rice and grape juice do not effect Ray's FP. No increase in FP at all.

Question: What do the Health It and Invinciroid do?

Invinciroid will recover 200HP and give you +20 in all your statuses (sounds wonderful~) but only for 2 hours. Crazy DAC tested it, and even if you're inside or time stops, it still only lasts for 2 hours, unfortunately (so you can't take advantage of it inside the Dojo or during a boss fight, for example). You can still use it during a boss fight, but it will still last for only 2 hours.

Health It just heals all status ailments (including poison, paralysis, sealed, and probably fatigue and cold, but not sure about those last two).

Well, just because his FP didn't go from 8 to 9 for example doesn't mean it doesn't affect it. Though you can't see it, FP has decimals - for example, when you talk to them their FP probably goes up by like 0.1, and when you give them a gift they like maybe by 0.2, or something like that, talking on festivals might be 0.5... whatever - those are just estimates. If Ray's FP was exactly at 6, like 6.0, and then you gave him the gift maybe it just raised his FP to like 6.9 ><
That doesn't seem likely though (the 6 -> 6.9 thing) because birthday gifts do tend to raise FP by large amounts, 1-3 full FP for example... I just don't know, this whole fried rice/grape juice mystery .__.

O.o i've never had someone's FP go up by 3 from a birthday gift. XD only ever 1 FP.

But yea, Kupo's right about the FP having decimals. Alicia is definite proof of that -_-"

I'm really amazed, thank you everyone who was a part of this guide and still are updateing it. I just got this game and its reviving HM for me.

Such a wonderful game, first game for me was boring and bland, this is nothing but.
