Okay, Kupo here...
I went to go reset my e-mail since I have a new one compared to the one I signed up with. When I enter it the site randomly tells me that my account has been deactivated and that I have to wait for the administrator of the board (Cher) to re-activate it so I can log in -_- I don't even know if I can send PMs... -_- Anyways hopefully this gets resolved, I just wanted you guys to know that I won't be updating (since I can't edit my posts...) until I'm re-activated.
The site really should have said that to change your e-mail you'd have to de-activate your account until the admin re-activates it -_-

I dunno where it'd go, but you could mention that, in second gen, if you walk into the workshop from 12-3ish, Mana's dad comes in and gives you a random dish.
I mention this because I was going through HELL trying to make Fried L.Snapper for Herman and her dad just walked in and gave it to me for lunch. xD
Some of his dishes are REALLY good at making villagers like you, too~

I'm back^^ I overreacted a bit D:
My account was activated again in less than 24 hours after de-activation so it was speedy. I still think there should be a notice saying "You will have to await account activation to change your e-mail" or something like that =/ I thought I'd never be able to go on for awhile.^^ But all is well.

Back to guide talk, don't worry Nate I got your PM and I'm just about to update the guide, so no worries^^. It'll be up in a short while. This weekend will be busy here cause I'll probably be going into second gen soon (which means a big update for the fishing, mining and especially monsters section) and Misti and I are planning to re-arrange the posts again since I need to be able to edit the fishing and mining sections... Oh well^^ It'll be fun finally going to 2nd gen^^ I don't want to rush though... XD

D: Unfortunately I already did rush a little bit; I married Dorothy before finishing all the girls' quests... ._. For some reason I didn't put two and two together (that when I married Dorothy the other marriage-related quests would be gone). XD Ah well... =P

Something I'd like to mention about transferring over to the new generation...I suffered greatly from this, and I don't want other people to suffer from this as well.

If you have monsters in your barn, make absolutely sure you have enough monster feed to feed them for 7-8 years before you switch over to second gen, because even when the game skips time, your monsters will still eat every single skipped day. When I switched over to second gen, I discovered my barn had no feed left in it, and all my monsters were down to 0 FP.

EDIT: Also, Herman stops liking Tomato Juice in the second generation. He tells me "Ooooh, Kacey. What in the woooooorld am I supposed to do with this?"

^Really? I don't think the monster feed info is correct. Even if you don't have feed in the barn, they still maintain their FP as if you took one night's sleep. I remember many people mentioning how they went into 2nd gen with 4,000 feed to avoid starving their monsters, but none of the feed was eaten and none of the FPs dropped. (It would be nice to have some more confirmation here.)

Also, i wasn't aware of the Herman thing O.o; Maybe it's a Natsume error? ..hm.

^This, is an amazing find. Really. I haven't read anything like this in the forum yet, and i think it would be really helpful in our guide.. It also makes sense, because Herman's love snapper request is pretty much insane, and for those who dont have wifi D: ..it would be pretty tedious to get past that one. So this is an interesting solution. Did you find it by accident? And is it a mini cut-scene, or do you have to trigger it somehow, everyday? What were some other dishes Douglas brought? (XD maybe it was Mana's lunch and you're stealing it from her. haha)

That's odd...then, I wonder why I ended up with 0 Feed and 0 FP with my monsters on transfer to second gen? I know for sure that there was a good bit of feed left in the barn when I switched over...also, it may or may not matter, but I had 16 monsters when I switched over.

That's quite possible. I certainly HOPE that's the case.

That event occur everyday, from 0:00 PM - 1:59 PM, when you enter the workshop (make sure leave empty room to accept the dish).

By the way, you can find all information in my walkthrough, and fushigi01 already upload it in megaupload for everyone trouble DL-ing from rapidshare (look at last page). It'll take your time, the only problem is grammar and Japanese/English names.

That's a glitch. I pretty sure you keep all thing when change gen, the only drop is villger relationship (because they just befriend with your father, not yourself) and Tool (old for time).

About the Douglas food dish event; I'd be glad to add it in. I'm not sure yet what section (I was thinking either "2nd Gen Information" or "Likes/Dislikes"). I'll think about it for a bit XD Or does someone have a suggestion?

Crazy DAC: Yup, your guide is very useful, the main reason this guide was made is so that people who can't download stuff (restricted user, slow computer, school/university computer) are still able to access a good information source. Also some people may find it more convenient. However in terms of amount of information your guide has a lot more (it also looks much nicer XD) of it and it is very detailed^^.

Also, soon to come: A version/updates list (so I won't have to post the "soon to come" section in a post, instead I can edit the main topic... XD) and a re-format of the guide is scheduled for this weekend (including a new table of contents, update of fishing/mining/monster sections, and re-ordering of pots)^^. Just thought you guys might like to know. Thank you again for all the contributions, suggestions and support, we really appreciate it.
