The third bottle? I don't know about buying it, but when I went to get my tools out of the chest, I was given a third bottle. The other two were previously on the Shelf, so I'm not sure how I got the third one. It just appeared in the chest when I collected my tools during my first day in 2nd Gen.

That's very interesting! Perhaps Marvelous was feeling nice and decided to give a free Empty Bottle to anyone who didn't already have three? That seems like the most likely explanation... but... wouldn't the TC have gotten the bottle too when they switched to second gen...? Hmm...
True, maybe there was a glitch in my game, or I can't recall if I acheived the bottle... What was the usual method for obtaining the third bottle? I did so many quests that I can't remember all the rewards.
