Well it’s over (I think) and I thought I’d share my last RF2 day with you all.

The day started pretty normal. I grabbed my level 10 hunter wolf and headed to the temple to see if the last of the crops had matured. They had, so I got the last globe (oh pretty). Anyway as opposed to preparing for anything I just ran to the now open ‘big’ door and it opened. I ran in and in no time killed (resealed) the final boss. Yeah, just like that.

You see I was a 66th level mage character. I had a level 10 Rune staff, and level 10 Element Shield, had my magic skill at 99. I killed the dragon using mostly Shine without even touching half my rune points. I was like “bring in another dragon”, but alas that was it.

So I saw my dad. He says great job, but I can’t come home. Bye now. The End?

Well drat. Anyway I noted that there were still a couple empty slots in my quest items screen so I went back to the dungeon shrines. Yes, I can go in those now too. After clearing a few monsters I beat the boss at the end of each shrine. Again, no challenge whatsoever.

Well I got some more tablets from the bosses and with that Barrett made a spell I could use to get dad. He said I can’t have it, but the fool hid it in the same spot as the other one. So I grabbed it and tried it the next morning. Low and behold dad walks in the door. The End?

So I’m still bored and I check the board for more choirs. Tanya has four new ones for replaying the four element dungeon bosses (the first ones). Well sure why not. I also found some armor to wear in my drawer in the house. Looks nice, but I don’t think it’s really adding anything to my defense. Well back to the monster bosses, these guys were TOUGH. I had to change my strategy and use my rune points to cast Cure and fight with my level 10 Smash Blade. At this point I realized I should have crafted a better weapon, but I had been so dependant on magic I never did. Anyway they’re all beaten (again) and I’m level 71 now.

What I still haven’t done. I’ve never made Herman’s Love Snapper Dish. I just could never get my cooking skill that high. That bum. Oh well. I also never got anyone's FP/LP up to 10. Seems it's a little harder in Gen2, but to be honest I wasn't trying very hard.

Overall thoughts. LOVED the game. Everything was much better than RF1. There are a few area’s I’d still like to see some improvement, but they are minor.

Too bad after ending you have nothing new to do.
No new requests from the villagers, however, the reqests from the 2nd generation were kinda boring. In the 1st gen. some of them were original and interesting (Cecilia asked me for sleepin' at her house or Dorothy wanted me to talk to her doll etc.).
After the ending everything you can do it raising your skill levels or just playing again from the start.

Well you can go for completion of achievements and such.

You can check this by going to the item drop box by your house.

My percentages are:

Farm: Achieved 35%
Crop: Achieved 61%
Medical: 16%
Access: 14%
Cook: 19%
Fish: 56%
Other: 76%

Long way to go there, but then what would be the point of getting 100% in everything anyway. Very boring.

I did note that on some of the shelves in the library there are still books that are too difficult for me. Are these books that are only given once you've connected with someone on Wifi? I read that there are certain items you can not make/get without connecting to Wifi first.

Another curious thought. If I don't connect to Wifi, but knew the recipe, could I craft the item anyway?

Level 71?

I beated Fiersome at 41 and the real ending got it at 51~ Though, if you don't have recipes, you can still make the item, with enough skill level, and if you know what the item should have, just make it and done.
