In most HM games, if you save before going to bed, then wake up with weather you don't want (generally a storm) you can reset, open your save the night before, and when you wake up the weather is usually something different. In my RF2 save, I saved after 11 PM and now I can't reset a tornado that happens the next day. Is there a certain time you have to go to bed by for this trick to work, or is the weather for tomorrow set in stone unless you talk to Alicia?

1 way to get it to not be stormy is to talk to Alicia.

The 2nd way is to faint.

You say you saved after 11pm? Is it still before midnight?

Here's essentially what happens. In your house, at 11pm, on say Summer 15, you save. Go to bed, and the 16th is a storm. Which is bad. So you restart and go back to Summer 15 when you're sitting in your house at 11pm. Use your tools till you faint.

When you faint, you'll wake up at the clinic the next morning. Since you were still in your house when you fainted, time stopped and you fainted at 11pm on the 15th. This means the next morning is the 16th. Since you're not in your house, the storm has been avoided (because well...you can't sleep in the clinic) and the 16th is now sunny. No more storm!

HOWEVER. If you wait till after midnight and the day turns to the 16th (at 12:15 am), and then you faint, you'll wake up the next morning: the 17th. You missed a whole day. I'm not sure if the storm happens or not then, but you still miss it.

So, just use your tools before midnight till you fall over, and yay! Storm successfully avoided.

Another way is to always have a sleeping bag in your rucksuck. If the next day is stormy, reset your game to the night before and camp out in one of the dungeons.

Or just make sure you check with Alicia every possible day, just pay her 10G..
