problems with shadow panthers in gen 2

i'm trying to get a wolf claw(once again), and I keep killing all the shadow panthers, but all I get are panther claws.!
i killed blood panthers also, and they also drop the same thing.
i'm not making a mistake in location though.

Wolf claws have mostly in my case been the panther claws.
