Yeah, Max would be good for some laughs. He would just stand on the sidelines, saying:

Max: "Make sure you hit its weak point, Kyle! Don't let your guard down! Oh, and if that monster drops anything, be sure to give it to me.

"

Kyle: (What in the world made me take Max along...?)

I can just see that happening, you know? Especially Max wanting the monster drop part. xD

Well out of the 2nd gen kids/your classmates, I agree with Misti Rose about Orland being the best choice, to take into battle with you. His father Jake has probably taught him how to swing a sword.

I'm not too sure about Leonel though, him being obsessed with cooking and all. But food does restore your HP and RP, so maybe bringing Leonel along wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Roy seems pretty lazy and undependable, especially at school. But he does have access to some great weapons since his mother Tanya owns the shop. I guess Roy could always talk his mother Tanya into fighting with you if Roy's too lazy. You know how obsessed with swords and fighting Tanya is

Roy, I'd use him as a human meat shield. Anyone else would probably over power me if i tried that, but hes nice a scrawny and he hasnt been living that long so noone will miss him after a while. =D
