First off I have to say I love the way they have done this game and the way it doesn't start until after you are married :)

I am now in the second half of the game and am taking it slowly, though you don't get much choice do you?! The monsters have tripled and are so much harder to beat, I found it a breeze in the first half, and my rune points seem to melt away very quickly. I'm level 10/11

My questions are:

1. Can I still catch a Buffamoo, I have 4 but they are all lvl 10 and even though I am not brushing them they are not loosing points. I need medium milk at some point in the game, which you can't buy. I went to the area that they were in the the first half and there are now big pink birds and goblins/orcs there. Where are they?

2. Where do I get the honey producing monster? I presume the honey stays the same size regardless of the friendship level?

3. Can you heal your partner monster?

4. Does the food you cook just replace HP or is there anything I can eat to replace RP?

5. As I level up will my RP consumption go down?

6. What dungeon and which area of the dungeon is it best to find gold?

Any help appreciated, thanks :)

1. As far as I know, you can no longer catch one... maybe I overlooked something but I'm pretty sure you cannot. You're in a bit of a pickle there (and so am I if you need Medium Milk later on...)

2. You can find a Hornet in Messhina Valley at night, and there is only one size of honey.

3. As far as I am aware, no. At least not with Runes from crops, or with HP-recovery items. Cooked dishes might work.

4. Not sure. I heard somewhere about Cabbage Cakes restoring RP? Just this hazy thought in the back of my head though >_>

5. Well, as you level up different skills (Mining, Farming, etc.) the RP consumption for those skills will go down - so the more you do something and level it up the less RP it will consume.

6. Padova Mountains (use the Battle Hammer). More information on ores can be found in the RF2 Mini Guide, it's stickied and there's a link in my signature.

1. Yes, you can. Go to Messhina Valley-Giant boulder at night to find them.

2. Also Messhina Valley. I forgot where the Hornet is, but the Queen Bee is in Holy Statue at night. They can poison you, too. Yes, the honey is the same no matter what.

3. Yes, but it can only be done with cure or medication. Both can be found on the clinic's bookshelf.

4. I don't remember, but I'm pretty sure some dishes restore RP and HP.

5. Only skill level. Not player level.

6. I've heard Padova Mountains is a good place for gold. I've also heard you can get it in Messhina Valley.

Thank you to both of you, that really helps. Just to clarify I have to use the battle hammer to get the gold - that's a weapon isn't it?

Buffamoo hunting here I come :)

Yes, it's a weapon that you can buy from Tanya for 1,500 G (in first gen - in second gen you can probably still purchase it from her). It cannot break the boulders that appear on your farm (the huge ones) but it will suffice for mining.
If you need additional information on RF2 you can visit the RF2 Mini Guide (link in my signature, and it's the stickied topic at the top of the list of topics).
