Should I play RF1 when I already play RF2?

I found RF1 quite easy and when I beat it my reaction was oh is that it? Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the game and the storyline but I completed it by the end of the first year, it was easy and as I leveled up easily the final boss took a couple of seconds to defeat. the only thing I didn't do was have a baby as I couldn't be bothered.

You have to compete the dungeons one by one and complete tasks to gain entrance to the new dungeons, whereas in RF2 you can enter all 4 at once.

I would say RF2 is more of a challenge and personally I enjoy that, I feel there is more to do but maybe because the game is designed to stop you rushing through it.

I always got the impression that it was easier to level up in RF1. But that might be because in RF1 you had to destroy all Shifts to finish the dungeons. In RF2 the monsters in the first gen don't give much experience, I was lv21 when I just entered second gen. And then in second gen I only defeated the monsters/generators if I needed a monsterdrop or if I wanted to befriend them (and when it was necessary to defeat them to proceed and when they kept interrupting me when I was watering plants). I didn't fight them to level up.

I kill the first thing I see in every dungeon :D
Just a recommendation..... Don't go to the padova mountains until you are able to beat the first two bosses.... preferably the first 3...
