What do you think of RF2?

The deal is, I'm saving up to get it. I want it a lot, and I wanted to know what you guys like or dislike about it. What should I expect, you know? How different and/or similar to RF1 is it? Stuff like this :D

But all I ever do in the first generation seems to be watering my crops on the farm, running to the different dungeons to water the crops there, fish, fish, fish, fish for the damn elusive carp to give to Dorothy XD, talk to everyone, go out and battle some monsters with my own monster in tow and then.. go to sleep. Which basically only takes me up until 3PM and that's pushing it.

Who sleeps at 3PM? ._.
Add more stuff and I'd be happy. More requests in generation one would have been nice. I didn't get to finish *all* of the girls requests because I got so bored, I just wanted to marry already and be done with it. XD

Aside from that, I think it's a pretty fun game. I like games that involve swords and violence. 8D So this was interesting since I also love HM. The meshing is nice~
I've never played RF1 so I dunno how to compare it to that. But I think it's pretty fun. The time runs a tad slow so it's like, the days take FOREVER to complete for me, but I usually just turn in early as I stated earlier. xD

I basically share Replica's sentiments. If you've played RF1 gopher, the time is the same though so it goes just as slow as before. I miss the fast-paced days of .5 seconds/minute of FoMT... now it's 1 second/minute. XD

Yeah, the time system is like that on RF1, and kind of (to me at least cuz I do so little on it) on Island of Happiness. *shot for saying it in a Rune Factory post*

Any game with any sword is a win for me (Sonic and the black knight :D )

Well, I do like to go talk to everyone for. . . whatever reason.

I think I just get excited when they finally change their dialogue for the day.
And I still have friendships to build up even more.
But maybe I'll start going to sleep even earlier from now on~

The only good time system is with AWL. The alarm clock lets you wake up at any time you want... no matter how tired you are.

Its good but take your time in gen one for money and unless you plan to marry on file 2 you'll never get that experience

I agree the first half does get slow though I managed to fill my days and go to sleep at 9pm at the beginning. My day consisted of farming, monster taming, fishing - not loads though, speaking to everyone and giving presents and doing quests. I got married in the Summer and had my baby in Fall. Once I was married and had collected 200000 I just slept through as I'm impatient

I actually like the fact that the game starts after you get married, normally when I get married in a HM/RF game I don't play much afterwards. Now I'm in the second half and my days are filled, I think this game will last me as it seems to be tougher. I'm very much enjoying I think it's a very good sequel.
