Wow, an alarm clock would be great.
I don't think I ever played that far into AWL/AnWL much to use it. That game is so boring and takes forever to do everything. . . *sigh*

Ah, I hate waiting for games.
Like. I basically just said I'd use holiday money to buy RF2 for myself. My mom bought it for me instead. >D
But I did use my own money to buy Rock Band 2. Which is like, $20 more than RF2 was. .__. Fifty bucks... sheesh.

But yes. Alarm clocks would be nice. Then I would wake up at 9 like half of the stupid town. And I'd be able to waste more time doing stuff.

And I'd wake up at like 12, 'cause I want to be different :D XD

RF2 totally owns RF1's « Mr.Gourmet's hat ». Character depth is better. Villagers' sayings vary depending on their FP and the seasons and time. There's some occasional typos and the reaaalllly annoying lag that can occur if there's too many monsters/people on the screen. The voice acting drives a lot of people crazy (though I'm okay with it) but then again, I don't see why crappy voices should stop you.

You got like four dungeons for each season and all the monsters seem to be around the same level (though there are some differences in difficulty: from weakest to strongest: Trieste->Blessia->Messhina->Padova). It kinda makes leveling a bit slow... I mainly just kill off the Orc Vikings in Padova. RF1 gets props for its dungeon system.

Agh, days've gotten really slow for me now that a lot of people's FP are maxed out. I've cut down my workload so I can go to sleep earlier. 16 real life minutes for, like, one day is ugh.

So it's kind of a total shift from RF1 in a way? And completely and totally worth it too :3 ? Yay I really cannot wait now =]

RF2 did seem to have sold better than the other HM games released to the US in 2008. I heard there was a time when Amazon only had three copies left in stock.

Not to mention, most of the scores I've seen it get were around 8 or so. Pretty good.

Personally I've never played RF1, but I've read reviews that said RF1 and RF2 are almost exactly the same except RF2 has improved controls, more items, and of course you play over 2 generations in RF2 :)
