Gen 1: Rosalind

I can't afford 4-Leaf Clovers, there is only one non-repeatable quest that rewards a (singular) Sweetie Potato and Grape Liquor is not available until *after* you get married and have a kid.
How on earth are you supposed to woo Rosalind? Is there some trick I'm missing?

I didn't find it so difficult at all. o__o
I would just give her random gems I got from mining.
She warmed up to me quickly. . .
Even though she'd call me 'Aaron' rather than my own character's name when I gave them to her. LOL.

Well, if you haven't completed Mana's 4-Leaf Clover quest yet you can cheat on it (get the clover, give it to Rosalind, abandon and restart the quest, and repeat). However, just talking to her everyday will be enough to get her up to 10 LP by at least the end of summer. Talk to her on festivals too and complete all her quests. She's very social (she's always walking places and seeing people) so she likes people talking to her... I think that's why. XD

Seriously? I've given her spoken with her every day through Summer 07 and she's still at one heart. ;_;
I even gave her wine every day for a week or two, but it seemed to slightly disgust her. . .

If she gets disgusted the first time, why would you continue to give it to her? XD haha.
I say just give her crappy emeralds and stuff like that.
I'd usually do rubies. They didn't seem to put her off though I could never tell by her face. o__0;
Of course, she had at least 8 LP for me so I guess it wasn't something she disliked.

I figured Wine was Grape Liquor, so I kept giving it to her.
She responds with the same sort of shocked face that she uses with Rubies/Emeralds/Diamonds, so I figured she just hated everything and I stopped giving her gifts. . .

Yeah... unfortunately if it disgusts her, not only will it not raise her LP it'll actually lower it. ._. So that's why she's still at 1 heart for you... and like Replica said you can give her gifts that are neutral, though I'm pretty sure Neutral gifts don't have any effect on LP. So the best thing is just not giving her anything and talk talk talk talk talk. Every day, twice a day, every festival twice a day, and do all her quests... any possible opportunity.^^ Neutral gifts don't have any effect on LP.

D: Well... maybe it helped? Maybe it's a glitch, not sure, but I doubt it... =P Well... gems don't sell for much in this game so not much is lost ... ^^
