I caught some in Blessia Island: south beach, daytime. Watch out for the big turtles down there.

I think it's better if you try at Northen Beach. It's more common and you can even get Lv10 Jamasquid (If you're a challenge fisherman).
By the way, I think it name is Sunsquid.
